Why do you like Housepets?
We all have our reasons, so spit it out already!
Re: Why do you like Housepets?
The style is cute, the story arcs are addicting, and the humor makes me laugh. I love the characters, they all seem so cool. And it updates frequently and on time.

Re: Why do you like Housepets?
Cute story, cute characters that we can relate to, cute art style. The Cute anthropomorphic tone to it, yet still living as pets. A lot of cute and great story telling.

Housepets! is well-written, has a cute and addictive art style, and generally helps me fill my weekly giggle quotas. What's not to like?

Great universe. Plays with some of my favorite themes. Is not afraid to get serious, but always ends with a punch line. AMAZING expressions. And it updates 3 times a week!

Re: Why do you like Housepets?
this comic has everything that makes a comic good above all the others. Great gags, the unexpected is a rule but never such to spoil the storyline, the characters are just perfect tridimensional, addictive. The art is great. And the setting is the paradise of any animal-lover, one just wants to live in the Gardens!
I read many comics and webcomics. NO ONE compares to Housepets!
You have our gratitude, Rick-Sama!

Re: Why do you like Housepets?
Well, when I first got on to the site, I clicked away (I thought I had better things to do), but luckily, something caused me to turn back. It was the Dynamic drawing style! Something about Rick's artistic style made me give it a chance. After having read the 1st arc, I was intrigued, and by the time grape was revealed as a girl, I was HOOKED! So, yeah. The artistic style, and the story. Also, the awkward romance.
Re: Why do you like Housepets?
The characters are cute, very cute, and really cute, and very very cute, and cute.

Re: Why do you like Housepets?
Cause it's funny, and I find myself attached to various characters. Usually there's one character in a comic I really like, but in Housepets! there are quite a few.
Edit: Fenning, try holding ALT and pressing 1, 5, 4 (One at a time, in that order) on your Number Pad. That brings up Ü. You can get any character that way, you just have to experiment with the numbers. Accents are about 130 - 165

The characters are cute, the arcs are funny, and it updates often, so I always have something new to look forward to. Plus, even if you think you know what's next, it's always so unpredictable.

This. ^ And also the comic is very funny, unpredictable, have a slice of life tone to it, and the humor. In all the weirdness of this comic, Rick manages to maintain a PG rating. I wonder would it be awesome if the HP pets were like our pets in real life? Hmmm... Oh wait, second thought, I take that back.

Re: Why do you like Housepets?
I might as well pitch in. I've mentioned numerous times that I enjoy the plot twists in the story. Even if you feel certain about what's going to happen next, something completely unexpected will change it up and make the comic even more interesting. That, above all else, is why I read this comic. The art was also great in the beginning, but has managed to improve spectacularly since then. The characters are very creative, and the story is very cohesive. The humor is really creative, whilst still being family-friendly. Sure, there are a few flaws, but overall I feel this is the best webcomic I've read to date.
Re: Why do you like Housepets?
the simplicity and nostalgia for things from my childhood are what drew me in.

Re: Why do you like Housepets?
Rick's comic universe is intersesting, and the artwork and dimension of the characters is great.

Re: Why do you like Housepets?
I actually started reading housepets, gave up a few comics in and returned a few months later only to become hopelessly addicted. character development and storyline are big factors for me. But it is mostly because housepets is very funny and absolutely freaking adorable.

Re: Why do you like Housepets?
I like Housepets! because the characters are interesting and adorable, the universe is good, I love the writing style, the humor is great, the drama and romance are not overly sappy, and everything is generally lighthearted. Not to mention it's one of the few furry comics that is both good and family appropriate. I love when things are clean without being unfunny or pedestrian.
