OH! I have another plot twist! Kodiak, the main hero from the first books, was actually in hiding, and wasn't killed by the plague, and neither was Mikaela! But the author doesn't reveal this at first. Instead, Candy Lupo writes about a peaceful little village, and focuses on Kodiak and Mikaela but uses fake names for them as well. AND: They have a son!

The son idea maybe, and maybe even Mikaela (though I'm less agreeable to that), but I don't like the idea of Kodiak returning--

--UNLESS maybe that were a setup for yet ANOTHER plot twist (perhaps even in a later book) and it turns out people just THOUGHT it was Kodiak but it really wasn't, it was an imposter pretending to be him for some reason....

I kind of have a certain idea in mind, at least in general, of the direction this book series is presently taking....

Maybe Kodiak did die, but Mikaela and his son survived?

That's kind of what I was thinking--or better yet, maybe Mikaela died as well. Certainly the son wouldn't be revealed as such in this book or the next one, and probably wouldn't be revealed as such until late in the last one....

That's a good idea. Not enough time has passed between Third Dawn and the last book for him to grow up.

Not only that but I was thinking to have him be revealed at a time when a lot of readers are thinking "too little, too late." As in, it seems less like a big soap opera plot reveal than like attempts to cater to fans who hated that Kodiak was killed off, or to do a very patchwork job of tying the last three books to the first four, or something.

(Kind of thinking of J. K. Rowling's "big reveal" that Dumbledore was gay--after the entire Harry Potter series was over....)

-Name-
Cris Rock

-Character Type-
Main

-Species-
Dog- Golden Retriever

-Age-
Human: 3.5 years old ; Dog: 11 years old

-Neighborhood-
Radiant Gardens

-Appearance-
Cris is a Golden Retriever. How much simpler do you need to get? He has a tail, brown eyes, and a black nose. His fur is a whitish gold, and his ears flop around when he runs.
Cris has a grey collar, which has a Rock hanging from it.
This is for the poor unfortunate souls who have never seen a Golden Retriever.

-Personality-
Cris is cheerful, so cheerful that it gets weird. He runs around hugging everybody and can barely say his own name right when he's happy. He's silly, immature and constantly running into walls. He can barely keep his head on straight. Some consider him stupid, but he's not. He's just blindly happy and cheerful.
He listens blindly to orders, and even goosesteps when fulfilling orders. He claims that his imaginary friend Pip follows him around everywhere he goes. Apparently, Pip is a cloud...

-Other Notes-
- Pip can only say his name, and can only be seen by Cris.
- Cris is allergic to cheese.
- Cris spells words backwards. No idea why.

-SPECIAL-
Strength- 4
Perception- 10
Endurance- 3
Charisma- 7
Intelligence- 5
Agility- 3
Luck- 10

Hey everyone, when I'm done with the arc I'm currently on in BsM, I'd like to move Jacob to RG. Would that be okay with everyone?

Actually... The character is named after a old character I made for a comic once. (The comic was a complete failure, and I destroyed all the pages. So don't ask.)

Wolf...erm, welcome. It's nice to have you. Running low on imagination at the moment sorry, heh. (on a simliar subject, nice job CT. I didn't expect anybody to make a list like that.)

It'd be nice to have you as well, Docter.

Also, don't worry Bolly. Take your time. You've always got a place in Radiant Gardens.

He walked up to him, Bella walked up to a tree off the side of a road and continued reading.

"uh hey, are you alright?" Lucky asked, looking strangely at the dog.
"I'm alright!" Cris said, spinning faster. "If Pip says I'm alright, then I'm alright!" Cris was obviously enjoying himself. "Are you alright!?" Cris asked Lucy, slowing his spin.
"Pip thinks you're alright." Cris said, watching the cloud spin around Lucy's head. "I'm not so sure though."

I'm gonna be honest with you. I know I said I'd like to take part in a magic arc (and I still would) but I don't think I can. I didn't think you were gonna do it this fast (although I should have), and I'm going on holiday for 2 weeks on Saturday. To my knowledge, I was one of the few has actually wanted to participate. So, have fun...but somebody has got to explain something to Awesome soon. He knows curiosity killed the cat, but there's only so much you can take before needing to know. Yes he declined the chance earlier, but with good reason. (I already know how magic works here, so that's not an issue)

Speaking of the arc, though, have we decided what the non-magic arc is going to entail?

Yes, but before we time-skip, we need to consult all of the other members in Radiant Gardens. I don't want to turn this into a monopoly or something. It already seems like Athlon's, The Game's, Chewy's and my characters are the main characters of this neighborhood (just like Peanut, Grape, Bino, Fido, King, Fox and Max seem to be the main characters of Babylon Gardens.) I want to give the other characters a chance to shine and interact.
