Good on Kitsune for not doing the dream thing. Also, I don't really think there was that big a chance of Joel choosing to be Joel again. Losing all your friends, family, all that time. Doesn't sound very fun at all. Also, is Karishad taking that car apart?
OMG! I KNEW HE WOULD STAY A DOG! *ahem* Sorry...couldn't hold my excitement in Anywho, I LOVE the 7th panel! It's probably the cutest I've seen both Bailey and King this entire arc! And I gotta hand it to Cerberus, the head with the strawberry milkshake looks CUTE with that hat! I do wonder if Karishad is "repairing" that car or just being himself.
It was destined he make the choice he felt was best, now that he has his happiness here and with a future shrouded in mystery once more. I am sure it will be interesting how it will be all played out, and see if what he has learned be applied. All in all good end for this arc. I guess the future will be quiet for a while, no demigods running around doing things, no real drama or conflict, just 'normal' slice of life fun.
I'm so glad King side to stay as a dog, but was there really too much doubt?
Also GK and Karishad in the same panel! There goes all my theories that I never really had...
I thought about changing my signature but decided against it, it's too much work!
Id like to take this oppurtunity now that ive dried my happy tears to apologise to GK. I thought i had lost all faith in demigods but....honestly...your ok in my book. *hugs him tight* And Cerb has never looked prettier. I still maintain a hug from her would be soooooo wonderful. I will miss them both very much.
I think there might be a few more Antipodean adventures coming. The 'Roos for one.
So that's what he's been doing;
he's been cleaning up the car?
But then it's also possible
he told Kit of the soda bar.
The game is over, all out-played,
and King's woken with his love
He may have been born human
but Corgi fits him like a glove.
He did it, they're free as a bird
but now a new trouble is caught.
They're abroad, in Australia,
and Bailey's without her passport...

Oh, Kingy, you silly pup! You woke up in Bailey's arm and with Fox smiling like it was the 4th of July. Now you can have your cuddles without undue interferences and under the best starry sky in the world... (Yes, Australia got fantastic nightskyscapes!)
Thank you Rick for all the emotions and for this touching finale of this awesome saga
And this is the part where someone asks "What do we do now?"
Hah - that's a reference to the final episode of 'Buffy', isn't it! *grins smugly* See - y'all thought I was crazy for floating the idea of a crossover for anybody who wanted it a few months back( prob involving dimension-hopping and 'pets-verse centered and...and I'm just gonna stop right there. ).
Anyway, nice ending to the arc. Something tells me mortal Pete and Dragon will be making an appearance in due course - we haven't seen the last of them.

A voice rings out behind GK "Great Kitsume!"
GK: "Bahamut! Good to see you! Have an ice cream soda with us!"
Bahamut: "I'll gladly have a soda with the lovely lady, but I'm afraid I can't have an ice cream with you, wouldn't look good for me to be associating with a known criminal."
GK: "Criminal? Me? But I don't understand...."
Bahamut: "Violation of standard celestrial rule #538647..... Not having your subject wake up..... I believe the penalty is..."
GK "One year spent as a mortal...."
Bahamut: "I think you'll enjoy Babylon Gardens. As I understand it's very nice -- by Earth standards anyway."

But I still don't get it... I thought Joel was meant to make the right choice, but he's still a dog. *gets murdered in his sleep*
*revives* yes, he did the right choice as he was meant to do and now he's happy, he's got the ones he loves and who love him by his side and his future is out there to build, never again alone *murders again*
And NO, Lord Bahamut: With due respect, Sir, unleashing Kitsune on the mortal plane wouldn't do the mortal plane much good.

The right choice based on who or what? YOUR views? The choice was based on what HE thought was right, there was no right or wrong choice. They were options and he chose the one he felt was right.
