Nyar~ been a long time since I've drawn something...
Did this a couple of weeks ago, I still gotta color it in. tiring turning it to digital though D: oh well... ^_^'
This was a drawing for render when I said I wanted to draw something for him~
still unfinished though X3

Oh! and I finished my drawing for render~! I decided not to create a lineart for it and played with the colors in photoshop, setting the layers to 'multiply'
Yes, he's somewhere at the beach

I like blur-ish background-foregrounds so there.

It still looks messy, but I like how it feels more 'traditional' to me rather than a 'digital' feel with the lineart and etc.

Hey, I was wondering if I might ask a question. I have been trying to learn how to draw but I seem to have a problem with drawing hands (and perspective and depth, but I have a book for those). I was wondering if any of you knew of any great sources and tutorials for hand drawing.

Interestingly you happen to have two great references for hands right in front of you

However, if it's not coming out correctly, you should check out some references on anatomy and the musculo-skeletal structure. Knowing what's happening underneath the skin is important for understanding the topology on top.

I tried that, surprisingly it didn't look very good. I guess I should study hands more then.

Because thinking of VEB152 blowing up something to smithereens sounds too awesome

just trying out things with the multiply setting on photoshop together with pencwings, i think it went well

i still need to work on my backgrounds and shading (and maybe a lot more but those two I try to prioritize first x3)

So I am sure it was here in the thread that I was asking about hands (which I did). I have been spending the last day drawing a little character, this is still a work in progress. But I kind of wanted to see if I might get some criticism or advice on what I have done if that's okay.
