Sara nodded in return . She wouldn't know about setting a precedent , but at least she hope she wouldn't be a burden to anyone . Then the fox noticed the little commotion around Aaron and couldn't help but giggled .Hlaoroo wrote: "Aye, that they are. Perhaps you can set a precedent." Evelyn suggests with a wink.

Peter grinned broadly as they got back to the raucous party. "I'd like that, my friend!" He turned his little hourglass and shook it a bit so sand fell through in a clump before settling to its normal, steady, stream.

"Would you like someone to take you up to a bed?" queries Brum.

Back at Noonvale, when I was still really young, Pirates found Noonvale by chance while exploring. Luckily, a Long Patrol regiment came by and stopped them from burning all of the houses down... Charles said. Yes there were a couple foxes, but... What I believe is that every beast can change from bad to good... or good to bad. Just because one fox attacks, doesn't make all of them bad beasts. Charles said.

After making sure Aldryd is okay, Brum allows Owain to take her paw and lead her to the dance floor which is in reality a smooth patch of lawn near the stage but a safe distance away from the bonfire. Although not an expert, her natural squirrel agility means she can at least avoid stomping on paws and tripping on tails. She giggles as the mouse swings her around.
"Have you had a lot of practise at this, Owain?" she queries half-jokingly.
==========
Evelyn gently extracts James' head from the bowl of mash in which it landed and cleans up his face so he doesn't choke on the food clogging his whiskers.
"See? You're making friends already. We told you they'd accept you." she tells Sara. Gurrtrude nods in agreement.

Owain chuckled as Brum appreciated his efforts at dancing. Persnally, he'd always thought like he'd danced with three left paws but he must be doing something right tonight. "Nev'r so well," he confessed, "Mus' be inspir'd by m' cydymaith... c'mpanion."

Brum finds herself blushing and hopes it wont show under her pale fur.
"Aw. How sweet off you to say so. I doubt that's the case though." Brum is about to say something else but is consumed by a fit of giggling as she notices the ridiculous sight of the giant badger lord hunching over as he tries to dance with the abbess who although being average height for a mouse, is dwarfed by his humongous proportions
==========
At that moment, Ambrose asks Evelyn to join him in a dance, so she excuses herself from Sara and follows him into the crowd. Soon after a pair of hares trot over to the mole and vixen.
"I say, wot wot. Would you honour a pair of lonesome chaps like ourselves with a dance?"
"Oh, rather, wot! We'd be honoured." The duo offer their paws to Gurrtrude and Sara and Gurrtrude's velvet muzzle crinkles into a smile.
"Burr, et's been many a season since a creetur asked me t' darnce. Are you'm a-feelin' oop to et, Sara?" she queries, climbing to her feetpaws and taking one of the hare's handpaw.

"Heh, it does give us an advantage." Brum agrees before stumbling slightly forward towards Owain as another less coordinated dancer accidentally rear-ends her.

"Oof!" Owain swayed slightly as he caught Brum to stop her from what he thought would have been a fall. He held her close for a moment and felt his heart beat faster as he felt her heartbeat through the fabrics. He looked her close in the eye and knew he was infatuated. He managed to straighten up. "Y'kay, mi Cariad?" He asked with affection in his tone.
