Which was actually not uncommon in the middle-ages and even up into Victorian times.
But I think I'd rather the book plot.
Although if you really want Redwall canon then you're actually best to look at the other books in the series. Redwall was the first book Jacques wrote and he was still nutting out all the details of how he wanted the world to work. Because of that there are inconsistencies between Redwall and the rest of the series.
Soon. Once Brum and Owain take their leave of Edlyn and Brock and Charles has checked out the gatehouse we'll do that. I can hve the molenurse get Sara walking around and cleaned up if you like.
Yes, that's molespeak. Yes, some creatures do find it difficult to understand so feel free to misunderstand the moles if you like. Here's a dictionary of molespeak which may come in handy.
All right. I wasn't sure as you just said "familiar faces".
I'll edit my post to have Brum reply to him.
If anybody is interested, this youtube channel has lots of songs taken from the Redwall audiobooks and which might give you ideas for the song contest.
uurggh ! I hate my brain so much right now , I gave me an idea and then refuses to develop it completely , leaving me with both an idea AND an writer block at the same time ! X_X
that's what I usually do , just let it roll , let the character interact normally , but it's like......it's sort of like I have an idea of what Sara would do , after reading through , but it's not clear , instead all blurry you know ^^"
Don't force it. It'll come. Ideas do that. Think of something else for a while and it'll suddenly spring into your head. A menial and repetitive task can also help clear your mind and let you think.
So, if you want to wash my dishes you're welcome to.

Well, it's a good start. Go with it. She's sitting near enough to Owain, Brum, Aldryd, and Alexander to talk to them so you could do something that way too.
Bros! I'm going to Florida on Sunday for a week, and my Mom's b-day party is on Saturday as well as another b-day party I'll be attending. If anyone needs to play Charles, then I'll let Welsh or Hotep play him.
This user is probably dead here. You can find me on Skype by the same username to see if I'm not actually dead.
I see... I think Welshie and I have jumped the gun a bit in our hurry to end the day. Sorry about that. I'll post again to get back on track.
Hotep: All right. Let us know how you're going so we know whether to interact with you later on or if you want to be moved to inactive or anything like that. Stay safe.
I guess, everyone feel free to finish your day's activities, send your characters to bed then and once everyone's asleep then I'll call it.
You may also notice that I've reworked the first OOC post for Redwall. Hopefully that'll make it easier to understand and read. If you've any other suggestions to improve it then please don't hesitate to drop me a line.
I feel like I either added to much or made the character to bad. if its not right I will change it (because I would like to join, let me know if its good enough Furrhan)
-Name-
Calder
-Character Type-
main
-Species-
Squirrel.
-Age-
19
-Neighborhood-
Redwall
-Appearance-
Calder is a red squirrel, is of average height for a squirrel his age, slightly more toned due to working at the blacksmith. He wears a grey tunic and Burgundy trousers. He has a small scar on his left hand and wrist from a smithing accident. Has light brown eyes.
-Personality-
Though mischievous at heart he tries to keep his humor and joy of pranks in check. he acts confident even when he has insecurities and doubts of his talents. Though if need be, he can be brave. He does try to listen and not speak out of turn.
Calder has begun very recently to step outside of his comfort in blacksmithing and has begun to study other things. He can be found most mornings reading in the library.
-Background-
Growing up inside redwall with his mother, father, and siblings. He loved mischief and causing trouble, one day while with his brother he became lost and found himself being attracted to the blacksmith shop. Since he was young he loved the sound of hammers smashing steel. Calder eventually grew up to be an apprentice to the blacksmith. Which was fine for his parents, who were overly protective of him in his younger age. Since he was so over protective Calder wants to go on an adventure someday, but is still contempt to making amour and anything else that needs smithing.
-Other Notes-
A year ago Calder was in a smithing accident, due to one of his own pranks back firing on a friend. He wound up falling near the forge and burned his left hand and wrist. He now tries to keep his mischievous behavior to a minimum but can't help trying to be funny at times.
He also can't swim and fears the water.
He doesn't know much about fighting, since he hasn't had the need to fight anything.

*edit; I didn't feel balanced with a younger character in a dangerous environment like a blacksmith shop.

I like him a lot. He might just be a rival for Owain.
The only thing is that being a peaceful place, Redwall wouldn't forge a lot of arms or armour. He'd spend most of the time making or repairing tools, fittings, and whatever else was needed. Armour and weapons would be the rarity and probably only forged when there were reports of vermin armies in the area, which hasn't been very often at all lately, hence the feast. Other than that he looks great.
You can start first thing in the morning since we're winding the day up now.
