Crux, I don't think it's a problem with your internet. It seems that wherever you are trying to link the from doesn't like it.
My suggestion is loading it somewhere else and then trying it again.

Re: Art Thread
@Crux - I can't see the image on this computer (I'm using someone else's) but on my personal computer, all I had to do was right click the little picture icon (it was a small blue/green drawing I think), click "copy image URL" or something like that and paste it into the search bar. I saw it just fine in another tab. It's a wolf picking mushrooms, right?
I can't do that on this computer though, all I'm seeing is that red "x" icon. If you're not doing this already, right-click your original picture from whatever site it's from, click "copy image URL" and paste it here, surrounding it with the IMG brackets. It should work for everyone then, but if it's still not working, I would listen to JeffCvt and find a new site to upload it to first and see if that helps. It's a nice drawing though
@Tatsuo - You're getting a lot better, man! Your linework is looking real clean and it seems like you've got a good grasp on shading and color blending. Keep it up

Re: Art Thread
I guess Facebook's CDN doesn't like hot linking so the [ img ] is a no go.
https://d.facdn.net/art/acrucis/1389944 ... ushrum.jpg
Pasting the url directly work though.
edit:
I mean FurAffinitys CDN not Facebooks.

Decided to make an attempt at drawing my character for the pokemon RP on here.

Re: Art Thread
Yea, FA can sometimes be a pain linking images, and sometimes it works.
Apparently there was a "Draw A Werewolf Day" a couple days ago (associated with that grey thing that orbits us being in a particular position, or something), and using it as an excuse to doodle something, this came out:

Re: Art Thread
@DingoVolf - A where wolf? Just what I needed! I lost some poop a while ago and I could really use some reliable help to find it.
@RandomGeekNamedBrent - I actually really like that design. Ghastly in a hoodie just feels... right
Speaking of pokemon...
I entered that T-shirt contest on forhumanpeoples.com again since the design theme this past week was pokemon. I spent days in front of my computer trying to finish my designs in time for the deadline and eventually came up with these two:
Sadly, I found out Thursday that I didn't make the top 5, so they don't get to go on T-shirts. It was a little upsetting, but I'm still proud of what I made. Figured I could at least share them online

Re: Art Thread
Nice draws again, Megamaster. Very good work, Tatsuo, loving its shading. That's just funny, DingoVolf. Great work there, Crux and Kouri.

Re: Art Thread
Kouri, I would totally buy that Growlith if it was on a T-shirt. If neither of those designs made it into the top 5, then there must have been some really awesome stuff submitted to them.

Re: Art Thread
Thanks so much for the praise, Jeff! It means a lot to hear something like that
If you're curious about the top 5, you can find them here:
http://www.forhumanpeoples.com/collecti ... awingboard
Just scroll down and look at the five pokemon-related designs or watch the video that's on the page.
I can admit that most of the ones chosen were at least just as good if not better than mine, but I could argue against one or two of them...
Oh well, they had their reasons I suppose

Its rather standard practice to prevent hotlinking. There are ways to bypass it though.DingoVolf wrote:Yea, FA can sometimes be a pain linking images, and sometimes it works.

Re: Art Thread
That Growlithe is awesome ! Yeah, Kouri I checked out that link and the entries that won and I would agree with ya. Yours should have been in the top 5. Compared to the others, yours has so much more detail.

I remember trying out a Cintiq at PAX. I got a collective three minutes with it, then got kicked off by the disappearance of the guy with me. |C Next time I'm going alone.hanDesu wrote:got my cintiq today, and this is the result :c
You're obviously good with it already, though. It won't be long before that thing basically pays for itself!
