Flynn gives Leslie a quick squeeze. "I know. It's just my instincts." He barely notices Rusty, his attention all on Senka.
"Yes but you're tame and used to being a pet. She's not." he answers Hutch too quietly for Senka to hear.
As tha jackal grabs his paw, Flynn stumbles along dumbly, his nerves now almost paralysing him and his heart pounding in his ears as he gets closer to the lioness and can see the tip of a canine tooth poking from under the lip.

After choosing the Guard-dog, Sabrina picks out the shampoo and a flea collar, and brings it up to the desk. Meanwhile, Blick is laying across several chairs with her eyes closed. She, amazingly has finished her lollipop already, and is chewing on the stick.

"I think this'll be it for today. What would the total be for this and the appointment?" Sabrina asks, grasping for her purse.

Elliot goes behind Flynn and pushes him.

"How about prey?" Flynn mutters to Elliot as he pushes him.
As he finds himself directly facing Senka it takes him a few moments to get the next words out.
"H-h-hi. N-n-n-n-n... n-n-n-n" Flynn gulps.
"N-nice to m-meet you. He tentatively forces himself to offer a paw.

Leslie watches intently, hoping he doesn't have to try to stop anything as he was sure the injections wouldn't hurt as much as a Senka bite.

Senka grasps the rabbit's hand firmly.
"Pleasure to meet you too." She says, smiling with a theatrically toothy grin. Her claws come out ever so slightly, just enough for Flynn to feel them prickle against his hand.
She also takes this as an opportunity to step out from the shelter of the bush, displaying herself fully.

Flynn feels the claws enveloping his paw and digging into his flesh and he looks up into the toothy maw. He tries to stutter out a few more words and then suddenly finds himself squashed between the two predators, both much bigger than himself, and unable to move. This proves too much for him and his body involuntarily does the only other thing a rabbit's body will do under intense fear.

Flynn collapses, out cold, for the second time in three days.

Leslie pushed forward to catch his friend as he knew heads dropping from height sometimes had bad things happen when they hit things. He got his arms under Flynn's armpits but staggered back and fell over under the weight. "Kan sumwun help?" he asked from under a Rabbit.

Senka frowns, looking at the unconscious rabbit for a moment. She then turned her head to Elliot and Faust.

"Um," Leslie said uncertainly, "I fink I shud go and get Mr Flynn's parents." So saying, he took off, tripped over a string, yelped as he skinned his knee, picked himself up again and took off at best possible speed for Flynn's house, jumping the gate as he went.

Moving at reckless speed, Leslie had covered the distance from the park to Flynn's house in double quick time. He sprinted up the drive in his concern, straining his endurance to the limit. He reached the porch, realized he was going far too fast and skidded to a halt face first in the door which sounded a large THUD! He shook his head to clear it after checking all his teef were still there. "Owie," he said, before putting his hand on the frame and bending over to pant heavily.

She swipes and puts in her pin, it beeps to inform Sabrina that she was approved.
"I can't thank ya enough, Dr. Samantha. You're definitely the best we've ever visited. We'll see ya next year!".
With that, Sabrina picks up her packages and calls to Blick. Blick had started to nod off, and when Sabrina beckons for her, she shoots up, completely startled. Blick gets up, opens the door for Sabrina, and then takes the packages once the pair are outside.

Kandi comes walking into the park, going over to where the pets have gathered into a circle about one on the ground.
I was coming to see if you were ready for lunch Senka, but it seems that you have scared something up already.
She kneel's down an checks over the fallen rabbit, feeling for a pulse at his neck. Kandi breaths a sigh of relief. no bite or claw marks on the rabbit.
So what happened here, before this one collapsed?

Ah i see.. you have to be careful with rabbit pets, You can actually scare them to death.
But what happened here is also an natural adaptation. They just shut down, when they feel there is no hope of escape, so they don't have to go through the pain and terror of being killed.

Kandi pulls the rabbit up into her lap, as she sits on the ground.
Could you all back off a bit, he is going to need a calm, predator free setting when he comes back around.
Kandi rubs his shoulders and down along his arms. feeling his bunny soft fur rubbing across her hands.
as she tries to coaxingly massage the rabbit back into consciousnesses.

Blick helps Sabrina into the car, then gets into the back. The car revs to life, scaring a couple birds in the forest. Sabrina pulls out of the parking lot and heads towards the edge of town.
"So we're picking up the cat from his house now?" Blick asks once they pass the parks.
"Yep. He's supposed ta have everythin he needs for the next few days, so the ride back might be a bit cramped. Sorry." Sabrina replies from the front seat.
"That's fine, he's going to be in the guest room right?" Blick inquires.
"Mmm-hmm, is it ready for him?" Sabrina answers.
"No but I can fix it up for him when we get home." Blick offers. Sabrina nods.
"Now he's very old, Blick, so you treat him nice and with respect. Alright?" Sabrina warns.

Blick thinks about their new guest the rest of the drive. Sabrina turns on the radio to her favorite station, KIRK:the alternative rock station, to end the long silence.

"Elliot, there was no way you could've known that he would collapse like that. I understand you were trying to help but..."

"In the end I just made it worse. I just..... wanted to make him feel better..."

Elliot sits down and frowns realizing that things would've gotten worse. Faust sits besides him and pats him on the shoulder.

"Elliot.... Relax, I think we're making Chip feel uncomfortable."

Hearing the bang and then the knocking on the door, both humans hurry to open it and are stunned to see Leslie with a bleeding knee, bruised nose and wheezing.
"Leslie! What happened? Are you OK? Come in, we'll patch you up."

Samantha processes the payment and then after graciously accepting the compliment, farewells her new patient and her owner before leaving Sandy in reception and heading out the back to finish the neverending pile of paperwork.

Leslie accepted for the moment - he couldn't quite talk yet after all - and swallowed to catch his breath once inside. "Fl...Fly...Flynn..." he wheezed. "In...in <huh>...pl...play...park... f...faint...fHUH...fainted..." he finished, before coughing twice.
