I feel your pain, dude... unless C's don't count as failing.

Joy: Just barely dodged having to present my speech in class today which gives me more time to work on it til Thursday (which makes it even more perfect since it's Halloween!).So much weight has been lifted off my shoulders... Yay!
Sorrow: I'm feeling extremely anxious that I might get lost on my trip to my volunteer orientation... oh well, I'm always down for getting lost.

Probably the most organized group dedicated to proofreading on the internet.

Sorrow: My first task is not to start approving/adding profiles to the document system. It is to check every last active profile to make sure that the user is still active and able to proofread stories. EVERY. LAST. PROFILE. Dog help me.

Drink lots of warm water. Avoid carbonated, sweetened or cold drinks. Avoid iced drinks. Avoid alcoholic drinks.

Then, use heating rubs on your chest, in front of your neck and your back to heat things up. Bundle up under layers of warm clothes (if it's cold over there) and maybe stand near a fireplace or a indoor heater or increase the temperature of the thermostat.

Avoid oily and spicy food. Also avoid any junk food.

Finally, rest a lot and relax.

.... Oh wow, I think I channeled my mum there. But yeah, take these advice from a guy who suffers them on a regular basis, just because he doesn't want to apply food and drinks restrictions to himself.

I actually broke most of those rules. XP I'll keep it in mind though.

Sorrow: Some guy tried to pick a fight with me last night. I backed down. I know I did the "bigger man" thing but I felt like a complete wuss. He picked the best place to do it too. A small crowd of witnesses and surveillance cameras everywhere so if a fight did break out I would go to jail. It still makes my stomach upset to think about it.
