The main thing I want to ask, though, is when and who is actually going to start doing this? Also, how and where is this going to be posted? What social network would let us do such a thing? Any suggestions?
I HAVE A IDEA
I'm really good with Vegas and i can make it just like The VG cats adaption
I can add sounds, make the text appear, and other stuffs :3
Like, you know, the actual Housepets server. And if not, there are plenty of file sharing sites, and maybe we could do a podcast or something.
Ebly's in charge of this all, but he's a bit busy as of late (we all are; I can't blame him) so it might be a while before this project progresses, unfortunately...

Well, I'm not doing an English accent for King....

I like whatIcharusdoes for Fox, but I think he's best as Maxwell. (Send me a recording to make sure!)
if you've applied and aren't there, either the quality of the actual recording is a bit iffy (as in full of noise, etc) or I have no idea where you fit (try out for something else).
Sorry Jack, sorry ctcmjh. Your actual voices both sound perfectly fine, so I don't know if it's the microphone or what. Jack, there's noise all over the top of you and it makes you hard to hear (I think you'd actually be good as Marvin, it kind of suits him). ctcmjh, the recording lost a lot of your voice out and made it tinny; you sound like you're underwater (I like your Fox a lot).
Chron and Isaac are both Spo. Hmm. This needs fixing.
send me more recordings people
Reminder-ized. And, yes-- Ebly of the past asks for more recordings! Shudder at his influence, from beyond time and spaaaaace.

It was the background. Whenever I try to record, there's some sort of loud noise messing it up. Now that it's summertime, I will be able to find a way to cut out the noise. I will re-record the Fox lines that I did, as well as some more lines from the current arc. It won't be a for a few days though.

I recorded a few lines and sent Ebly a pm asking for his email, but he hasn't responded and unless someone else tells me his email I can't get the file to him....

Take wrong turns. Talk to strangers. Open unmarked doors. And if you see a group of people in a field, go find out what they're doing. Do things without always knowing how they'll turn out. - Randall Munroe

... Y'know Brawler, you would be so awesomely helpful there, if it weren't for all the references and quotes you made that all still have the spelling mistake in them. xD
Hope it's not too late to put some cents in, but I'd think that some original scripting would be necessary when needed. And if help is still needed, I'd love to help with any technical aspects in any way.

It is not too late, you opinion is completely valued. Especially since it's the exact same as mineWho said that????

XD Good to know that my opinion has some value somewhere. At first, I offered help for technicalities because I was having trouble with my mic. I tinkered around with it and now it's all set for some proper recording!
My previous offer still stands though.
Personally, I'm surprised no one has gone for Rufus yet. I think he has some of the best lines!

Ok, recorded lines for Rex, Miles and 2 of the ferrets (Duke and Keene).
So do I just send them to Ebly via PM or something?
And will I have to host them somewhere first, or can I attach files from my comp? I could chuck them up on FA if neccessary.

PM or Email it to Ebly. You can use a file hosting site like megaupload or rapidshare.
OMG, I love all your characters! You are very talented in changing your voice. I bet it will be hard to place you with all your awesome characters! Good luck!

Thanks. Even if I don't get the characters, it was good practice for me. I'll probably audition for more if I don't get these roles or we need more role filled
I've got a question, do you see King with an english accent, or an american one? Just wondering :> (If you'd think he has an english accent, I might try it out Oo)

I've already been cast as King, and I'm not doing it with an English accent.
Tobee wrote:Oooh, totally forgot sorry :3 And that answers my question aswell, thanks
(god do I feel stupid right now )
It's okay--but this was mentioned earlier on this page....
Anyway, I'm doing an affected accent--not sure if it's New York or New Jersey (can't really tell the difference, sorry.... ), but neither the accent nor I am English--both American.
I personally think your Rex was the best (although I liked your ferret voices more!), although Rex seemed to be singing a little off-key...
Thanks, that's good to hear, because Rex was my least favourite. I'm glad someone liked it :p
As for the singing, I won't lie, I can't sing. However, I did feel it suited his character. I could have probably done it a little better, but it would have lost some of the growl quality

Well, maybe it does. I don't know if I can imagine Rex singing ON key, to be honest.... Or at least not sounding GOOD while singing....
But yeah, the growly quality, I felt, suited him perfectly.

Actually, the very first recording I sent in was Rufus. (Followed by like three other characters.)
But I was cast elsewhere, obviously. So yeah, go for it if you want!
