Cool cat, indeed. It was hard seeing the tag in his previous picture. Like to know what the tag is along with the other kittens and puppies.

First, I'm really sorry for not doing another of the musical series, as I had promised. I kinda lost my courage to try again...
Secondly, I try sketching profiles again, as it is the only thing I'm truly comfortable and brave enough to do on a whim, this time of King and Grape.

First is Rick's new style, second is KENN, a Japanese furry artist, third is shippuu, another Japanese artist and programmer (and very kind too :3), last is derpy style.
I'll be honest, Rick's new style is the hardest among the lot. TwT
And derp coz why not? ;p

Well, it's mostly because there are a lot of other artists out there that I really look up to, but Rick will always be my first artist and teacher, and it's both fun and helpful to learn several styles.
And one thing I notice is that Japanese artists are more lenient in others copying their style, as compared to the ones from the rest of the world, so I don't feel as guilty emulating them.
Finally, I don't actually have a distinctive style of my own, I emulate and simulate others. Always known that I'm not very creative, yet am innovative.

It always starts with a bit fan art =). I actually took a look at some of Rick Griffin's art work Way back in the day, and it was really cool to see even he had a bit of his own fan art. In time as you use other people's work, you'll find your own art style. I do recommend though, you go on youtube and search some tutorials. Whatever it is you want to learn more on, it always helps to have a good foundation. Just my 2 cents.
