Awwww, poor Max. He's getting outclasses by everyone. T_T
I hope he finds a way to adjust somehow. This does look like one of those moments where his stubbornness might cause some issues, but I wonder how he would feel if he learned to blend in, afterwards?
Poor Tarot just looking at Max, too. Probably worried about things like this happening in the future, too.
I can't help but laugh every time I see Max in that first panel
And seeing Peanut on four legs makes me wonder what kind of breed he is... any guesses?

AHH MY EYES! That's too much cuteness for one single strip!
Hehe, seeing Max rolling over the ground screaming "WHYYY" just made my day (that was so hilarious. XD)
And Peanut sniffing Grape was so cute and funny (I wonder if he found out if she smells like grapes X3)
By the way, Peanut said that this wasn't his first time but I can't say the same about Tarot. She seems to be having problems too. Maybe he has been hanging out with Karishad and we didn't know. XD

You know the Alt text is implying that either Grape has been transformed many different times before or Peanut has been to a lot of dimensions that pets are differently shaped and sniffed each Grape there. So was there a dimension where all the Pets were like squares or triangles and stuff like that? Now that would be pretty funny to see.
Currently, I think the one that wins out the most is Grape in the first panel. Yes, I think Max is super adorable the way he is, but Grape got such a cute pose, and her tummy is just asking for a rub. =3

I just noticed another small detail that was in the last comic too ~ everyone's collars are on tighter. Here I was thinking for awhile it was unintentional. But then again, they could pull wallets out of it in their universe.

I completely agree, I feel so girly by being so joyous at this sight!
South Park's Aspen skying instructor: If you try to walk on two legs while you have to do it on four you are going to have a bad time.

I'm more surprised that he can't recall whether he did it once or twice.

Any ideas on whether they are still in another version of Babylon Gardens or in a completely different place?
Looks like Max must learn to "use the fours" haha. Sorry.

...and you didn't notice that Maxie's bell is way smaller. And I'll bet this one jinlges, too!

And if the small protrution on Tarot's left paw is any indication, I think they now have five digits at the front paws, and four on the hind-legs, just like real life cats and dogs! Yupiiii!

I don't think Tarot's worried for herself, guys. She's concerned about Max. She's a nice dog...
Anyhow.
Poor Max, he can't face the facts
that his skills have faced the axe.
His powers have adapted to survive...
he's become a four paw drive!
Grape's adapted fast and loose
as Peanut checks out her kaboose?
If she sees him she'll be agog
and watchers will see cat chase dog.
Tarot's concerned for her friend,
wondering how his mind will bend
under the strain of keeping pax
in the world called Gallifrax!
Now she'll take them to the park?
Well, it's going to be a lark...

I've seen animals trained to walk on two legs for a while, and they weren't even sapient! I believe it to be possible. After all, Maxwell is Smart! (See what I did there?)
And if everything else fails....

They sure do look different, but this should be a fun arc. Seems Peanut really likes Grape's new form, a lot =). Or either that, he was just being friendly.
We assume so much, and know so little...

Peanut is even more adorbs in this than I expected! I'm kinda agreeing with IceKitsune here. I think Max may end up ruining it or causing this trip to end horribly.
