Words really can't express how much it means to me to have this happen. It's no exaggeration to say that I really look up to Rick Griffin and I really admire his artistic ability as well as his amazing storytelling. I learn a lot just from looking at his comics and artwork and trying to apply his techniques to my own style. It's just an incredible honor to be able to offer a guest strip for this comic, and I look forward to maybe one day doing it again.
Thank you, Rick Griffin for being an inspiration to me, and thank you Dissension for your incredibly hard work with the forums and other site stuff, as well as being very friendly and understanding whenever I had any questions.

More grief from King! And I haven't seen him with Tarot in a while, and I like the artwork, so a Tip of the Hat to you Ryusuta.

Tarot travels out, going for a walk,
when she hears a voice, calling out to her.
For once she knows the voice is really real.
It's the once human who's under her fur
King – for once a friend – wants to talk.
She's still one of the fair few he can tell
of things cosmic, ethereal, and beyond
so he talks of proud moments with some zeal
and she advises, feeling something of a bond
with a happy corgi who's been through hell.
She knows full well that they ignored him.
What is one dog, after all, to the game?
Whilst they wait, one shall take and one shall deal,
one shall fish and the other pertain
to win the little game they play on a whim.
when she hears a voice, calling out to her.
For once she knows the voice is really real.

Okay, I'm not gonna lie. I haven't used this phrase in a long time, but that post was made of win. XDWelsh Halfwit wrote:Tarot travels out, going for a walk,

Oh, also:
Thanks. I know they don't usually converse, but King couldn't very well vent to Bailey or Fox about this, heh. ^^;gameangel147 wrote:More grief from King! And I haven't seen him with Tarot in a while, and I like the artwork, so a Tip of the Hat to you Ryusuta.

Creature of chaos with long slender body, heavy tail, and clever hands. I am to water as a dragon is to fire. And I'm adorable.

Hmm. I have had extensive experience with both computers and Corgwyn. A Corgi is much more fun!Argent wrote:What about corgis?werl wrote:If there is more to life then computers, I don't want to know!

Well, if it's anything like the cartoon, they'd just make up the rules as they go along and overly dramatize everything.TinFoilHats wrote:Wonder how'd they fare at Yu-Gi-Oh!

You guys are really something special, you know that? I already knew you guys were a communal, friendly bunch, but I never would have suspected that my little comic strip would have gotten such a warm reception.
For those wanting to see more of my work, feel free to look at my DA or my FA sometime (I'm Ryusuta on both of those, too). I'm currently in the middle of an Iron Artist attempt, so wish me luck trying to muscle through it! I'm deliberately putting myself through the ringer to test my resolve before I continue planning for my other big projects.

Here, have a compliment. Here have another. And another. And another. Know what? Have the whole storage room!
Seriously, now. I really liked the script and the portrayal of the characters was quite loyal to the originals. The edges of each object were a bit soft, and two panel-long comics make me sad, but it's way better than anything I know how to draw, so congratulations on the guest appeareance! : D
20th century fox? Given that this is the year 2020, that fox must be dead by now. Sadface! : (
