Being a hipster is too mainstream.
Don't tell a hipster that, they might explode!
Being a hipster is easy (I get called one a lot, even though I'm really not) just 1. have a large collection of vinyl records. 2. say "I liked their earlier stuff better". and 3. buy your clothes from a thrift store.
Just came back from a vacation off the island where i'm at on Nova Scotia. One of the biggest highlights i had during this trip was that someone actually recognized my yellow Housepets! T-shirt and said it was awesome! /squee ~ Asked him for his username on the forums, but he only posted once he said, but he did say Rick was awesome and so was his comic. He gave me the link to another comic as well as i was talking to him called www.missmab.com that i looked into a few times, but for all intents and purposes, meeting a fellow fan on a trip with my shirt on was just awesome.
Then my brother of course teases me about it. *readies laser gun to shoot him in the future*

What is it about Homestuck that makes people want to shove it all over people's faces?
It's good, OK? It's not the best thing in the muffins and cookies world.
Why are we even talking about other webcomics? There are other threads for that.
there's other threads for a lot of stuff. We can talk about things that have their own thread for short amounts of time.
and I'm pretty sure sleet was being facetious.

We enjoy it. I'm sorry you don't. I don't bite other peoples' heads off when they recommend something I don't like.

Depends on if you want to be a full on hipster or just dabble in it.
Being a pseudo-hipster is easy just wear retro and/or snapback hats ironically, listen to gangster rap ironically (unless you're from an urban area then listen to country ironically), and dislike classic rock. I fully recommend it as a lifestyle choice.
I think in Non-sequiturs
"I told you not to put metal in the science oven! What'd you do that for?"

I've tried to play Croquet in the past, but just couldn't enjoy it. Most due to my brother.
Also I have to ask, what exactly is a hipster? I read some about what the English dictionary says they are, but I still don't get it...
