I bought [Prototype] from Game and it something like that (only it was at the start). I went in with the receipt and they put it through one of those machines that repairs discs. It was working right afterwards.Wolfy wrote: Anger: Was playing the sequel but my xbox keeps saying unrecognized disk right at the cut scene in front of the marker at the end. I wanna complete it
Other than that, I know my local Blockbuster had one of those machines, and it didn't cost an outrageous amount to use. This time though, the game didn't work even afterwards.
Just letting you know, it might be cheaper doing than buying the game again if you really want to finish the game.

Nice idea but I don't think it is the disk that is the problem. It may have a problem but as far as I know it is the xbox itself. It is really acting up and not working properly. May have to disassemble it and clean the laser reader.
