I've been 16 for about 11 months now, and I find this piece of writing to be 100% accurate.MilesKingford wrote:Joy: Decided upon a personal resolution (over four years late but nevermind) to start getting serious about my life and what I want to do. In Britain, people are expected to become serious about life at 16, but not everyone knows exactly what they want to do or what is best, meaning we make very bad decisions. Plus, knowing someone who seems to have always known what he wanted to do in his life made me think things through. But nothing is ever too late and I am determined to see this through to the end!

apprehensive: Just sent an e-mail to my dad explaining that I'm likely losing the scholarship I have and that I might have to retake a class. Hopefully he'll agree to just make me pay back any extra money he has to spend when I graduate and get a job, but I'm afraid he's going to call me to yell at me for failing. I still am trying to see if I can get the grade up to a C so I can go to the next level course and hopefully do better with that, and I said this in the email, but I likely won't be able to considering I missed a few assignments.

Joy: ambushed and hugged my cat as he attempted to saunter by unnoticed. FOOL I never let a snuggle pass by.
Sorrow: a few hours is not enough time to do about 16 text book pages of writing.
: Umm so my mum started cursing my dad with spells over a lit candle earlier today, I shall rightly assume that I should be worried and then just accept that my family has now completely degraded to pure insanity. Well whatever makes her feel better I suppose. I wonder if that stuff actually works? Probably not but I can hope.

good luck man, I had to make that call last semester (luckily I ended up getting the grades I needed but still.....) and it's not very fun.RandomGeekNamedBrent wrote:apprehensive: Just sent an e-mail to my dad explaining that I'm likely losing the scholarship I have and that I might have to retake a class. It went fine. He wasn't mad, just disappointed.
sorrow: apparently my final project, which I thought was due on Tuesday, is actually due on Friday, so I have two days to get that done. I will have to go all night again tonight. and maybe tomorrow night too and just take naps throughout the day.

Sorrow: Had a rough day at work. I actually had somewhat of an emotional break down when I was coming back from lunch. I was pulling into the parking lot and saw one of my friends walking out to his car, and I told him I needed to talk, so he got in my car and I parked. I told him about some issues I've been having lately (and I started crying of course...) he helped me with the situation which was nice. Good to have a friend like that.

WAIT A SECOND! You mean to tell me that MLPFIM has only just finished its second season, and it has had as big of an impact on so many people of all age groups already? I mean its HUGE and people absolutely love it, and its only the second season? At this rate, I think it will take over thus sending America into a friendly, cute, clean, and crime/drug free era by the 5th season.Sleet wrote:Joy: My Little Pony was amazing today.
