We have a decently-authentic Mexican restaurant here that has murals painted on the walls and it looks pretty nice and cultural. Except one has Speedy Gonzales and that kinda ruins everything.

That would be like going to a nice Italian restaurant and seeing Mario on the walls.

There's a car repair shop near where I love that is painted bright yellow and has Spongebob as its mascot, not sure how legal that is.

Well at least Mario isn't that stereotypical. His voice is really the only thing Italian about him. Unless you count the Super Mario Bros. Super Show version, who seems to have a fixation on pasta. Kinda like Dylan but less adorable.

I think real-world references have been retconned from the Mario canon. I think that's just his accent.

No, the White Lantern Corps(life) doesn't have an oath, and Orange Lantern Corps(greed) only has two living members, former member Lex Luther did for a time during Blackest Night, and Larfleeze always is near the power battery, no scratch that, Hal Jordan was corrupted by greed when he touched Larfleeze' power battery. He also had a Black Lantern ring, Red Lantern, and a Sinestro corps ring shoved on. He also joined the white lanterns during Blackest Night, he is a member of the Blue Lantern corps, and I think was a member of the Indigo Tribe. He also dated a Star Sapphire, which is as close to joining them as he can get.

The weather is bipolar here. It was sunny and extremely dry for a while and all of a sudden there is a freaking snowstorm.
It makes absolutely no sense! Maybe something to do with the mountains. Whatever, I'm not complaining!

. Never seen snow before... Well, not counting movies, tv shows...national news sometimes. I've seen hail, but... i don't think that's the same thing. I've heard it hurts less.

Snow will kill you as soon as it touches you. It's incredibly lethal.

After a few days you begin to lose that excuse

I'm a little worried that our electrical stability is no better than it was a couple years ago. They said they were making major changes and that this winter the power would be unstoppable, but no weather came along to test it. I guess that's a good thing because it gives them more time to work on it.

It's still no fun having a full year of school.
