that is, unless Max could actually beat his opponent if he knew how to use better his abilities.
And since, powers or not, the 'roo is a sort of brainiac, he could use Max's abilities to give him a hard time.

I iz puzzled.
Having an artificial heart that works doesn't make one a living dead. That's the point of having an artificial heart at all! You live and breath and do your things, taking care of your body and of your new heart.
So roo wasn't a living dead.

I don't think that it meant he was an actual "Living Dead" in like a zombie sense Val. Leftleg wanted to die but Heartbreak wouldn't let him, hence feeling like a Living Dead.

though technically, having his heart in his leg could make people think of him as living dead since stabbing through his chest wouldn't kill him right away as it should.
but I think it's what Ice said.
