I'm just so glad that's not the X factor Christmas song, I smiled and listened to the entire thing. Feels like a unique, happy, Christmas song as well.Tiggy wrote:Wonderful christmas time? yes please.

Title: Mr. Z
Artist: zyko
Album: Heroes vs Villains (OCRemix.org)
The whole album kicks bubblegum, but I can't get enough of this track. I'm a huge OCRemix fan in general

What ever happened to REAL music? You know, heartwarming little ditties that fill you with happiness? Songs that don't glorify sex and drugs? Too bad it seems to have died off.

Haha, you even took the time to comment on the very same video there. Well Mettle, I have to break it to you but that music that you loath is still music. I loath, despise and execrate reggaeton but I am forced to stand that terrible music because apparently, it's the most popular music in this messed up country I live in.

Re: Music.
I know it is. I live in America, and the whole population seems to love all that crap that somehow is described as music. It's still music, but it's not real music. Songs like 'Dance with Me' are what I consider real music. Harmless, lovely songs that have a wonderful message, and don't glorify things that most of us can agree are stupid and wrong. It's disappointing to see where our culture is going, and it's become prominent enough for it to show in our music. It's really a shame that real music seems to have died.
Re: Music.
You argue that that is real music, you should keep in mind that others may argue that things like this is real music.

I'm not gonna lie, I saw a new guy posting Reggie Watts, an artist from whom I've only heard one song (yes, that one), and I was scared for the forum rating.
That song you posted is fine though. False alarm. *giggles*

Everyone's entitled to their opinion. So, telling me to grow up was really unnecessary. I have my opinion, so there's no need to be so rude about it. >.>Wanderer wrote:Every music is REAL music. Grow up.Mettlebird wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M6YpHDyk ... plpp_video

Re: Music.
If people don't like to hear others' opinions, then they should just ignore what I say. I openly express my opinion. *shrugs* I'm not gonna lie about anything, and I'm pretty much always up-front and honest. Besides, it's my opinion that I can express my opinion.
But when people express their opinions, which they do, there is no need to be rude and tell them not to 'grow up,' or that others don't want to hear it. Tensa. *giggles* I'm messin' with ya there, Tensa! :3

I don't start wars. I'm not like that, and most, if not all of the people on here aren't either. You can say what you want, and I won't care, but there is absolutely no need to be rude when you do so. Truce? (I'm not saying this in a snappy way at all, I'm not like that, either.)

Re: Music.
opinions can be freely expressed as long as they do not break the rules. While mettle probably could have made it clear that it's just his opinion that today's music is not real music and that he respects the opinions of others, Wanderer probably could have respected Mettle's opinion more and not told him to "grow up." please let this be a place to share opinions and not insult the opinions of others.

*giggles* You really can be silly, Tensa. I know from talking to you every day! You're a good puppy, though! *pats your head*
Anyways, I love all music from about the twenties up to the two thousands. Then it started to go downhill for my taste. I can't seem to find very many modern artists that suit my tastes. Too much glorifying of sex and drugs for me. Not that all music is like that, just a good portion of what's popular in my age group. It really disappoints me that I can't find more than about three good artists for my taste. But my absolute favorite artist is Audry Assad. She's amazing! Such lovely songs, and she writes them so well, and her singing is just incredible! Here's one of my favorite songs she wrote:
