you don't have to be on your favorite character's team. you could like being in marching band and playing American football, but you can't be on both teams.

well that doesn't make sense (other than going only to competitions, I guess)
at my school, both teams had pretty much the same practice schedule, so it was really an impossibility.

no, you just have to alternate and maybe practice more outside of scheduled occasions.

He was in the pit so he didn't march, and the practices didn't conflict. He joined the band to perform at halftime.

the pit doesn't count, silly. they play with the marching band, and are part of the band as a whole, but they aren't part of the marching band if they don't march. :P

Hey, don't talk crap about the pit! Our instruments are larger and more suitable for deadly bludgeoning weapons.

I think given enough strength, a Sousaphone would be a pretty dang good bludgeoning weapon.

and I did say that they're part of the band as a whole. I see drum majors as the same. an important part of the band, just not the marching part.

I'd don't know what Swedish Christmas music sounds like. But if psykeout is jealous, it must be good music.

WELL
-European music tends to be well received by my tastes (that was aukwardly worded but ok)
-Sweden is basically the North Pole as we all know; it's snowy all year and it's covered in trees and everyone is either an elf or a cookie (which is why Tiggy lives there.) ⊥
-A third reason

They don't have thanksgiving, so it wouldn't bug me so much if they didn't wait.
wouldn't bug me at all really.

It's good to see the movement to protect Thanksgiving's rights is spreading, though.

Hehehe. That picture. Definitely agree with it. Prefer not to see anything christmas-y until like...2 weeks before. But that's mostly because the media just completely kills my mood for it. Also family, they love listening to it the moment Thanksgiving is done with. Gaaaaahhhhh.

Well not really so, but kinda. Every language tends to have something it is known for, like German tends to sound very angry even when holding a normal conversation. But I dunno, proud to be Swedish I guess.
In music form, I must say that any language that is not your own sounds great, dunno why.
Just an opinion of course.

It started last night, so yes. This station at least.

also Psyke: It's not just swedish music, people request christmas songs etc, and it's just really cozy and stuff.

It's not even that I enjoy Thanksgiving that much, there's actually not much to it that I like. It's just that devoting the last quarter of the calendar year to one holiday removes a lot of what makes it special. Christmas in late November I will reluctantly accept, but Christmas in October is a no-no.

I can't wait till it snows.....if it ever will. That is the best part about Christmas, if you have it on a day where snow sheets the ground, not a dry, green day like North Carolina tends to have. >:I
