I got my blood pressure checked for free in a health fair today, and it read 140/90 even after the second retest. I'm going to check again tomorrow to see whether this is for real. Scared though, 140/90 is rather high...

Puzzled:
The name of the university I'm studying in was changed, due to some surprising development regarding the administration and the benefactor. It's rather weird, and I dunno what to make of that.

Yeah, a blood pressure that high is pretty concerning. What did you eat before having that test? In fact, eating or drinking and also exercising before having your blood pressure or glucose checked will mess with your levels.

I would use the new name on anything official and continue to refer to it by its old name out of habit. X3

Well, I did have a rather large breakfast this morning, so it might be that.

And it's not a big change really, the acronym is still the same although the name changed, so it should be fine. =3
The admin will be in a pickle though, the company's reputation is one of the main reasons the university is known in the industry and in public in the first place, so now they'll have a hard time attracting in new investors and students.

Anyway, back on topic,

@Kuro- Souji is right. There are so many things that can make it spike! I remember, after one pretty bad argument with my parents, I had a doctor's appointment immediately after. My blood pressure was actually dangerously high that day. X3
