It was very minor, something like a 2.8 or 3.2. Hardly worth mentioning, I've been through stronger. Ebly is fine; he was snarking about the earthquake on Facebook, earlier.

I saw that. Apparently, the tsunami of new Facebook statuses was more threatening than the actual quake.

Personally, despite basically living in quake danger capitol of the world (Woo major fault line!) I've yet to feel any hard quakes. My memories of earthquake drills are just as common as the fire drills... Bwahaha, I even remember one time where we tried to exit though one staircase, and a person was standing outside the door holding a sign saying, "COLLAPSED OVERHANG." We had to go another way, of course.

Seriously, that's a little amusing.

It was hilarious. As they said, lots of snarky comments ensured. It wasn't just me, trust me. The whole of facebook (and twitter, since when I googled it about a minute or so after it happened, twitter feeds were going positively maaaad) was abuzz with jokes on it and yeah, about half an hour after it there were more than 100 groups talking about how they survived it or died in it... or how their turban unraveled because of it or how adelaide brings all the quakes to the yard or whatever other facebook meme you want.

Apparently it really was a meteor, but it's probably giong to be talked about in the news. In the end, it really showed just how much of Adelaide is at home on their computers on a Friday night...

on a more serious note, we don't, really. it's best to leave snakes and spiders alone and let 'em do their own thing. they're not so bad.
and don't get scared of the bird-eating ones either, they really aren't dangerous. it's freaky like you would NOT believe because they SQUEAL if you attack them, but that's pretty much reason to never ever ever attack them!

Bird-eating spiders are about the size of a person's forearm and are surprisingly common in rural regions of Australia. Also they are loud.

No, we do not like that sort of thing. D':

Humor is relative! ... I mean, more like a distant relative in my case. Like, 4th cousin twice removed. But that's beside the point.

Point being: stay far, far away from any insect or arachnid large enough to eat a bird. ... If anything, the fact that they squeal makes them even less appealing!

VGCats is pretty bad too although Scott does put some effort into his art and doesn't attempt character development which I know he would suck at

...why would you add character development in a comic with no story at all? Seems pointless. But yeah, the comics can be hit or miss at times. But at least less hit or miss than Ctrl+Alt+Del... I'd say both comics are okay/goodish.

Yeah, There's absolutely no storyline what-so-ever. The only one with even a bit of a storyline would be Ctrl+Alt+Del. There's a bit of a background behind all the characters. Ethan now owns the game store(game heaven iirc?), Zeke... Etc

I was using that as a reason it's better than CAD, since CAD tries character development and it's horrible.

Scott will shut VGC down in 2020, so you should look forward to his remaining updates. Both of them.

Scott updates about 1 times a month. So by then there should be about 240 more comics by then. :P And housepets should have about 3130 more comics by then(assuming rick doesn't miss any updates)

And then he has the gall to say this in his newspost:

During the last three months, yes.

The intervals between his updates grow longer and some day he will have a schedule similar to the reappearance of Halley's Comet.

I was wondering why so manny disliked the Ctrl+alt+del comic.
I don't like it ether, i never laugh at the jokes, but thats no reason to Flame it.

and then I found this:
http://badwebcomics.wikidot.com/ctrl-alt-del
Warning: website contains "adult" language
and it all makes a bit of sense, but this website is just stretching it.

or even better:
Yatzee going out of his was to make a Video about the web comic, rather then a game
http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/ ... -Webcomics
Warning: this is the same warning as above, but with a video rather then text "obviously"
