(OOC: it's time now that I introduce my guest character, will put up the character sheet shortly)

Wynn jogged through the woods, a short distance from the town. She had not yet received any orders from Stevie, and was passing the time wandering around the woods, getting reacquainted with the area. She stopped suddenly, perking up her ears. She could hear faint voices coming from up ahead. She moved forward quietly, until she came to a small clearing with a large tree, which was surrounded by several animals and a human. She walked around the edge of the clearing, staying behind trees and bushes in order to stay out of sight, moving closer in order to get a better look at them. As she came closer she could see them more clearly. She looked over the group, and her eyes fell on a dark gray dog, who looked familiar, and her eyes widened as recognition dawned. "Cier?" She whispered. She was shocked to see him that angry. She moved forward unconsciously, but stopped herself from walking out into the open.

Cier growled louder at Felix, glaring. He was about to start yelling at the raccoon when Venison spoke up. Del talking quietly in his ear and Venison's short speech to Felix served to calm him down slightly, and he became aware of pain in his paws. He unclenched them, and tried to take deep breaths, though he didn't stop growling.

Well... First off, I very much doubt there will be any kind of training in an animal hospital.. except for physical therapy of injuries. So there in no danger there for them.

Second, Didn't you just say that your an very insane dog, why should i trust the judgement of an insane dog, about the quality of care the pets in my charge are receiving?

An third, I have a few condition's if you want me to take you into the hospital.
#1, don't cause no trouble! there are many sick an injured pets there, an we don't need a repeat of the animal control mess.
#2, I would very much like for you to tell your story to Rav's trainer Christopher.. Just meet an talk with him is all..

Sal' remained seated but sat up. "What do you mean, be careful?" She turned to watch O'Connor having his conversation. "I like O'Connor, Pep. I've never met a guy that actually liked me before. Please don't ruin this for me." She whispered, before getting up the table and slowly walking over to O'Connor, Alex, Brian, Tory and Amelia. She felt like Pepper was just jealous and wanted to ruin it for her, so naive. She stood next to O'Connor and smiled at him kindly, "Hey Alex." She gave a small wave to him. Unknowingly to herself she leaned against O'Connor slightly.

Oh, hi, Sal. - waved Alex back. It seemed like Sal is getting on good with O'Connor. He smiled at them, and turned to Amelia. He was sure that he forgot something important, and it was about her. Something he wanted to tell her. It was annoying him slightly. What was it? Amelia snuggled up on him, which distracted him more. Mom told him to back home as soon as possible, and the group around him was getting larger every minute. Alex hates large groups. It was a good time to leave. Of course, he'd rather go somewhere with Amelia, but mom would be worried. Why does she want him home as soon as possible anyway? Oh yeah, the newspaper... That was it! That's what Alex wanted to tell Amelia.
Amelia... I've got something important to tell you.
His voice was barely a whisper, and his expression was very serious.

"Excuse us but we just moved in here and we were wondering if there are any interesting places to go to around here." Natalia said to the now large gathering of pets around Alex and Amelia. As they wait for a response, both dogs made a quick facial profiling of each of the pets there.

O'Connor walked over to where Tory was, and tried to keep as inconspicuous as possible. He began to tap on the table, trying to think of a way to smooth over anything that could go wrong. Tory flew over to him, and nuzzled himself into O'Connor's fur. It was a comforting feeling, but it didn't make him forget the fact that he was completely embarrassed by the situation. Since he was usually very level-headed and isolated, the idea that something could be developing between him any dog at all was shocking. Not to mention that this particular dog was much younger than him. His drumming increased in speed, and his brow furrowed.
Suddenly, Tory's head came into view. "Hey, O'Connor, you ok?"
O'Connor was startled, but recovered quickly, smiling. "Aye, lahd. Jes' thenkin' is awll."
Tory wanted to ask about what O'Connor was thinking about, but decided against it, instead resnuggling into his spot.

Felix's ears flicked back in annoyance at Cier, who had growled at him. He had to stop himself from rolling his eyes to the top of his head, and instead focused quietly on the dog, glaring. After a moment of this, something Sara said caught his attention, and he let off watching Cier.

#2, I would very much like for you to tell your story to Rav's trainer Christopher.. Just meet an talk with him is all..

"Does the first condition apply to everyone, or are you only taking the Coydog to visit?" he asked Sara, gesturing around to represent the 'everyone' in his sentence. He paused for a moment, then lightly added, "Because if you don't take everyone, you'll force me to come up with my own measures to visit my sister. It's not like I'm going to sit here twiddling my thumbs and not try to see her. She's family, after all." He let himself look worried for a moment, then covered the emotion up again. As an afterthought, he said, "And I don't know if you want to take Magnus, as well...?"

Meanwhile...
Pavelle stirred momentarily while the nurse removed the IV and unbound her, sleepily blinking her eyes open before tiredly shutting them again. She yawned, stretching, before curling up in a tiny ball on the bed with the covers wrapped tightly around her. She shivered again for a moment, before falling back asleep. Something resembling a dream nudged her, and unconsciously she shied away from it, her mind choosing to fully relax.

Stevie's eyes looked up to see a dog walk up to her, but still keeping his distance.

“Hello.” He greeted in a casual tone of voice.

Stevie made sure that the coat covered her entire body so that she wasn't recognizable, but then decided that it wouldn't hurt to ease up a bit and befriend the locals. She lowered her hood so that her whole head was visible. Oh, hello. saying as cheerfully as possible as she spoke to the coydog. Do you know anything about this neighborhood, I'm lost and I can't find my friend.

(Gah! I didn't even notice that you were talking to one of my characters...since in my other post I mentioned that the coat made it impossible to tell her species....then again it was my bad XD )

*nothing from Dylan other than he just listens to the conversation*

Amelia ate her muffin as the crowd began to grow around them, pets waving and talking to each other as she kept to herself.

Amelia... I've got something important to tell you.

Amelia ate was left of her muffin and nuzzled Alex on the shoulder before she looked up at him. What could be so important that it bugged Alex? Could he have found out about yesterday? No...that couldn't have been it, he would have freaked on her already. Amelia kept a straight face as she laid her head on his shoulder, perhaps this would make him not suspect a thing. what is it?

Alex looked around, before lowering his head, and putting his muzzle next to Amelia's ear, ready to whisper. For some reason, it would bother him if others heard his words.
Amelia... I want you to stay home the whole day today. Please. Come on, I'll escort you there.
He pulled her paw gently, indicating that they should go.

As Brian finished the muffin, licking his lips, he couldn't help but wonder what Amelia and Alex were on about. However, he knew better than to barge in on their business.

Pepper looked over to Sal and gave a weak smile, "You'll do fine..." he said, though she probably wouldn't be able to hear him. He pushed the chair back under the table neatly and walked outside, waving to everyone, but not disrupting their conversations. He walked down a street and sat down on the sidewalk, next to a parked van and leaned against it. He had a lot to think about right now. Sal seemed to be making friends just fine, which came as kind of a shock to him. Everyone seemed nice enough, but yet the current atmosphere didn't seem quite right. After a couple of seconds, he closed his eyes, still leaning against the van. He wasn't hungry anymore. Infact he was more sleepy right now.

Sal' glanced around people's faces, which made her hungry, as most were stuffing them with muffins. She looked to O'Connor and Tory, then realising she was leaning against O'Connor, she moved slightly and shuffled away a little. She didn't want to embarrass him. This then caused her to think if he really did like her, or if he was just playing her on. They both seemed to have an obvious crush on each other, but was that it? Or even were her feelings just a reaction to O'Connor being the first guy to like her. He seemed to be holding back on something, and she didn't even know if he did really like her. Sal' lifted her paw and grabbed her forehead, closing her eyes, she was so confused and it cause her head to ache. She decided that the first step was to decide if O'Connor actually liked her... but that would mean asking. She looked around the group of people, and frowned, 'screw d'at' she thought, before noticing O'Connor's tapping speed increasing. Without thinking she lifted her hand and placed it on top of O'Connor's trying to calm them. "What's on your mind?" She whispered so only O'Connor and Tory could hear.

Venison pondered for a moment, trying to relax on the tree. If one looked close enough, they might have been able to make out a faint smile. After all, this was the first time Venison had managed divulge his own backstory without being doubled over in pain, barely conscious. "I suppose I'll agree to condition number one. I can't fight, you see. So... and, well, as for #2, well, I trust most humans about as much as their ability to stay conscious while being zapped by a stun-gun. It doesn't happen, you see. Being a trainer, someone who breaks pets, I'm going to trust him even less. Further, if I did talk, there's no doubt I'd be identified as insane, and thus a threat to myself and those around me, and then be detained. So no, I'm not about to talk to this Christopher fellow. Is there, perhaps, an option number three that I could take instead?"

Venison's face twisted. "Oh, crap. I nearly forgot about Magnus. We should probably check if the big guy's okay. I mean, he doesn't have Pav," He looked pointedly at Felix, "Or anyone else watching him right now..." Venison stood up. "I think I'll go check on him..."

She raised her eyebrow "what, Richardson valley? a Jail? not in the least. I was more, taken away. I was very small at the time, a kitten. So I'm pretty much new to the neighbourhood like you" Sekhmet looked a bit closer at Jance. "You alright?" she asked noticing how nervous he looked.

When the shepherd first noticed him, she quickly tried to conceal herself in the long black coat she was wearing. “Oh, aren’t we the shy dog.” He thought. Blood had met many German shepherds through his life and at this point was perceptive and experienced enough to identify them merely by scent and minor details. He took a half step forward to get a closer look at her, but stopped once she removed the hood of her coat.

“Hmm? So you’re new the community as well. I just happened to arrive here not ten minutes ago myself. If your lost, then I might be able to help you, what does your friend look like?” Blood calmly spoke as he tried to read the name tag on her collar, but it was still hidden under her coat.

Wynn whined softly as she watched the group. She hated seeing Cier that angry. She hesitated, she wanted to go out there and help him, but that would mean being seen. She stepped forward out into the open, slowly moving towards the group, her concern for Cier eventually overriding her fear of being caught. "Cier?" She said, her voice quiet.

Del kept trying to calm Cier down, though she was getting worried. Cier hadn't been this angry in a long time. She looked around, hoping one of the others would notice and try to help, and her eyes fell on a new dog approaching. She stared barely able to believe who she was seeing. "Cier?" Cier looked over when he heard his name and his anger was replaced by confusion. "Wynn?.

Sean thought for a second. "I was adopted by a friend of my parent's owner when I was still a puppy, and we moved away too a city not long after that." His voice took on a small bit of sadness. "He died, and I managed to find my way back here."

I was talking about Venison, An it would not be very wise for you to be seen out in the public view. What with the newspaper saying you coons were involved in the attack on the animal control building, an your an pavelle's dad, having renounced ownership of you.. they will pick you up on sight.

Option #3, would be to wait until morning, when they will be brought home to us. I have noticed that was the second time you have mentioned attacking a human with some electrical device, don't you think you are a danger to yourself an others, an do need to be detained??

I want to see them; I want to make sure they're okay...and by the sound of what you said, it's almost like you want me to be detained. Here's the problem. Besides the obvious where I get trapped and are at the mercy of humans, I get detained, I get microchiped. I get microchiped, my parents find me. You can see the problem I have with that, don't you? Now, if Pavelle and Rav are coming home tomorrow, with no chance of other crap happening to them, then perhaps, at this point, I might just settle for a quick visit rather than trying something stupid and emotional. But I will not talk with Rav's trainer." With his anger exhausted, Venison was returning to a more logical state.

Your scaring me, will all this talk of attacking an zapping people like it was no big deal, I'm sure you can see how that can make me have second thoughts about having you around.
In reguards to your parents, you have it reversed, I don't them to find you, I want to find them. So they can be arrested for what they did to you. But i don't have the authority to do that, but Christopher as a pet Ranger does. but he would need to know your story to investigate the matter.

As for Felix, that was the truth. animal control is on heightened alert for anything that even remotely looks like a raccoon. An trying to walk into the hospital with him, is going to draw a lot of attention his way. an the for mentioned not causing chaos in the hospital would accrue.

Felix narrowed his eyes at Sara in annoyance. He kicked one leg, looking down somewhat sullenly, frustrated, when an idea sparked. "Okay, how 'bout this? If you really think I need to, I can get one of those 'ten-minute pet-dye' things and dye my fur black. I've used them a couple times before and trust me, I look pretty much like a long-haired black cat. My face is a little too pointy for it, my muzzle too long, but it's passable. Plus, I have that stupid collar Edie bought for me. It'd be a good enough disguise to get me through the hospital safely as a regular old tom. No problem. Plus, it might be useful to have some sort of disguise anyway, if I plan to hang around here." He grimaced. As much as he hated using human products for anything, especially when it had to do with somehow contaminating his body (i.e. shots, medications, or eating certain digusting human foods like potatoe chips), this was one of the easiest, quickest options available.

Suddenly, Venison yelled, "Feral!" Felix immediately leaned into a defensive stance, low to the ground, hands up for the ready, and swiveled in the direction of the newcomer. He let his teeth show a little, though not enough to make the dog angry and try to attack. Sometimes, the dominant ones did that. He looked warily at Cier and Del, who seemed to recognize her. If it broke out into a fight, Cier might side with the feral, which could make things sticky for Felix if either of them knew how to fight.

O'Connor looked up at Sal', and panicked on the inside. However, he grabbed his wits and calmed himself.
"En ahll 'onesteh, you. Ah mean, Ah'm naw' realleh shure what's goen' awn wit' meh. Ah'm an ol' mu' who doesn't 'ave much tuime lef, ahnd Ah don' eiven know wha' this feilin' is. Bu' Ah'd luike teh give e' a shaw', ye kno?" He became more confident as he continued you. "Ah don' kno ef Ah love ye. Bu' I'm interested, ahnd Ah'd luike te sei if I am. I's jest confusin'. But ah'll maeke i'."

Sal' listened to him with a worried look, 'what should I do, should I agree, or should she think about it, but if I think about it he might get the wrong idea, but if I goes straight ahead it might be going to fast, what should I do?' her heart pounded in her chest causing it to almost ache. 'I should tell him no, I mean, me and another dog? I've never been in a relationship, I don't even know if I like him. Opening her eyes she realised she had just leaned in and kissed him full blown on the mouth out of nowhere. Realising what she had done, in a room full of pets, she move back and stood upright and just stared at him a moment. "Em." It was the only thing she could think of as her train of thought dragged it's remains back onto it's track.

Amelia tugged back on Alex's paw, hey! I'm not going to leave yet! I'm still here with Brian in case you have forgotten already. Amelia smiled back at Brian to make sure that he knew she was still there for him. Brian, do you want to come with us?

Wynn backed off a little when the dog and raccoon got into defensive stances. Strangely, the human didn't seem very concerned by the fact that a feral was nearby. "Don't worry, I won't do anything. I was worried since Cier was mad..." She looked at the dark gray dog, still looking worried.

Cier was at a loss for words, seeing Wynn again after so long, and just as suddenly as she'd disappeared. After a few seconds of just staring in surprised, he managed to speak. "Wynn,what are you...how... what happened?" He asked, barely believing who he was talking to. Del, who had gotten over her surprise much faster than Cier, addressed the two other animals. "This is Wynn, she was Cier's girlfriend before she disappeared almost two years ago, I very much doubt she's going to try anything. "

“Sorry, I don’t know many cats, let alone your friend you described.” Without moving an inch, Blood looked the female shepherd over, sniffing at the air and taking note of her scent as well. “However, I did happen to notice a number of pets hanging around a coffee shop about a block down the street. Any chance your friend would be hanging out there?”

Brian looked around, wondering whether to spend more time with Amelia or stay at The Wall to socialize with the others. On one hand, Brian wanted to talk more to O'Connor, who seemed pretty nice, and maybe meet some more pets as well. On the other hand, Brian felt much more comfortable in a less crowded setting with a fellow nerd like Amelia. Gulping, Brian said, "I'd like to follow you, Amelia."

It is very important for you to go home. Please listen to me... I've never betrayed you. Brian should go home, too.
His voice was serious and worried. It gave a good impression of what he wanted to say. There were dangerous strays outside, and they could hurt not just Amelia, but any of the pets in Richardson Valley. Perhaps Alex was taking this too serious, but that's better than not taking it serious at all. He pulled Amelia's arm again, wanting her to leave as soon as possible and stay home.

O'Connor wasn't quite sure what had just happened. He was talking at one moment, and the next, he was being kissed. Sal quickly pulled back, and O'Connor sat rigidly as his brain tried to comprehend the situation.
Tory, on the other hand, was more expressive. He looked up just in time to see the situation, and gave out a loud, "WHAAAAAAAAAAAT?"

Pepper stretched and used the front of the van to help himself up. He rubbed his left eye and walked back along the path he had just come along. He was going to just pass by The Wall and head on home again, before he heard a loud noise. Curiously, he peeked through the door to see Sal backing away. He saw O'Connor's shock and raised an eyebrow.
"What did you do this time?" he asked.

She mulled over what to say next while she was chewing on some muffin. Sekhmet swallowed and looked around "hmm, well, it seems Richardson valley doesn't have any leash laws. I'm not even sure what they do with supposedly harmful pets or strays. you'll probably get used to crowds soon enough..." she looked slightly more intense then she intended "Do you know what they do with Ferals?"

O'Connor didn't know what to do. For the first time in his life, he felt too confused to do anything. He wanted to stop Sal', to console her, to let her know that everything was ok. But he couldn't move. The shock of the situation was just too much for him. All he could do was stare.
Tory wasn't sure what to do, either. The little bird was terribly confused about the whole situation, and nothing the two dogs had done yet made any sense. "Er, wait, I, but..... what?"
