Our band was awesome. We marched with tubas. Actual freaking tubas. :3

tubas are heavy. and It's too late. I didn't audition for it in college. I liked it, but mainly for the social aspect, and I'll have anime club for that.

It seems our marching band is becoming progressively less awesome... We lost five people after band camp last year (and by "lost", I mean they were kicked out. Long story), then five more by the end of the season. And more people are quitting this year.

So, we went from around 60 last year to 40 this year. We'll have a pit this year, though. So that's something. :3

And mayonnaise cake does sound awful. I've never had it, though.

I played a pretty mean Trumpet back during middle school/Freshman year. Sat in last chair because I didn't do the quizzes at home, but was able to do every trumpet part and was offered a spot in the Symphonic Band (The better of the bands at the High School), along with our first chairs. Declined because I quit. The teacher was almost insane, and it wasn't fun to play =(

I still miss it at times. Music is in my blood.

Also, about mayonnaise, why do people say you either love it or hate it? I must say that I'm personally mostly ambivalent towards mayonnaise, I don't usually ask for it taken off of foods, but I don't usually think to put it on food myself either.

Also, how do you make cake out of it? Is it actually sweet, like a cake cake, or does cake just identify the shape and form, like a "potato cake"?

It is very cake like. VERY good. tastes a lot like brownies (it was chocolate).

i mean, you know mayonnaise is just eggs and oil, right? that stuff goes in cake.
