though i agree that that's generally a good rule!, oh and can someone answer me how frequently Rick updates the comic? iv recently discovered it and read throw it all so, would love to know what the norm is.

The comic updates Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, US Central time, kupo. It's currently on a brief hiatus due to loss of power from tornado damage.
