What do you think a weather control spell DOES? Maybe it just points out the location of the frost giant as says "there, go punch it"
I'm sure the cold hand of science will be able to overcome his magical powers

D&D talk. d20 means the number that shows up when you roll a 20-sided die. Same for d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, etc.

I guessed that, but since I never played (nor show any interest) in D&D, I wouldn't know.

And as we all know from "Harry Potter and the Balance of Earth" the only way to stop that is by collecting enough moon sapphires to open the Portals of Jericho.

i don't actually see how that's going to help
the storm already stopped clearly
the problem is the snow laying on the ground
how's is attacking a snow storm entity with the snow storm itself no longer present going to help?

I don't know about an In Comic explanation but the real reason is we get to see Dragon or Tarot or both punch a Frost Giant that's why. Maybe her fighting it cause it to stop and she's just finishing it off that's the best In Comic explanation I could give

I keep getting this thought of Tarot uppercutting the Frost Beast shouting "SHORYUKEN!!!!" with fire coming off of her paw. Unfortunately, I also imagine it in Ken's voice.... Darn me and my addiction to Street Fighter 4

Just thinking of the fight that way gives me a little chuckle. I didn't imagine the fight between Tarot and Frost Beast in that way.

My thoughts exactly!
But imagine if Tarot won and a huge sign "Finish him!" appear above the two of them

I have a question for Rick. When you start an arc like this, do you plan on all this stuff happening, or do the ideas sometimes just come to you part of the way through?

He has them planned ahead if i'm not mistaken. but he does make some changes. the ending for this arc was one if i'm not mistaken. >.>

Also, it's safe to assume the storm stopped because Tarot is winning this fight.

You know as stupid as this is since Dragon and Tarot are fighting a Frost Giant ,I've been wondering exactly how strong are The Cosmic Nerds? (Dragon Pete and Kitsune) Like are we talking Galactus level strength or lower maybe? or are we talking like a cosmic cube or like the endless or a cosmic abstract like being? (ie. Order,Chaos,Death,Dream ect.) this is assuming they don't have the rules of the Cosmic Game of U&U to follow.

Given that Pete says it's easier to play in an existing universe than to create one (which implies that they could do so, it would just take some effort), it's reasonable to assume that they could also destroy one, if they were so inclined

So wait, where's Tarot in all of this? If there are no answers because of this, I'll be confused. :P

Woah! that first panel defies explanation. Spirit Dragon really needs to pay attention and ignore that little crush of hers.

I wonder what the Spirit Dragon wants, anyway.

I would assume she is inside of Dragon (like Dragon kind of forms around her like armor that Tarot doesn't control) or maybe at the table.

While to me at first it seemed like a sin that she got punched like that, it suddenly reminds me of one of those superhero comics where it just comes with the job of being powerful, mortal or not. Which makes me wonder what Peanut thinks of all of this @_@

Speaking of which, it's nice to see Peanut actually meet the Dragon face-to-face in this way. I never really expected Peanut to get involved with her in this kind of manner either. I wonder what his opinion of this is and if it will affect his imagination in any way? =P

Today's comic is full of EPIC, and I am thankful for such a gift to us humble, lunatic fans.

Paunch? Falcon paunch? I wonder if Sabrina can or will help the Dragon to win this fight...
Also, Peanut is kinda taking all this too lightly. He's in a spot near heaven watching a dragon fighting a frost giant, and he doesn't seem excited or scared at all...
