I love this. How does King know Allegra again?

Mr. Bigglesworth should be ashamed of themselves for what they did to Mr. Bigglesworth. I mean, what would Mr. Bigglesworth think about what Mr. Bigglesworth did!

Mr. Bigglesworth is awesome, though. And fox should really just admit to it. He'll have to eventually.

Oh crud, forgot to mention Fox was just acting that way as to keep his cat loving self a secret, at least until he figures everyting out

Also King doesn't know Allegra actually, but Fox described her to him way back on the day before the party.

Oh, of course, as if keeping that act toward the only creatures that could truly call him 'friend' can be called 'sorting out things'... *shakes head*

Is probably best if he did keep this side of himself a secret, at least for now. Nothing like find out something new about you self, or in this case Fox. Any ways, love this chapter their Chris. This gets better by the second. And poor Opal.

So the battle lines are truly formed… Peanut is many things but a confident leader is not one of them, Bino is a lying cheating creep but he has been playing this game for a lot longer…

As for Fox’s immortal soul is still up for grabs… love des not always end with happiness

HA HA Haa...ha… I must be blind, am I the only one on Bino’s side?

Opal remained in Mr. Bigglesworth’s arms as they entered their house, her crying had finally stopped but his chest fur was already soaked. Looking up she lightly kissed him on the cheek, “I’m sorry Biggles… you lost your home… because of me…”

Taking a seat on the couch, Mr. Bigglesworth just hugged her close and smiled, “it’s not your fault. I half expected them to react like that, so it wasn’t that surprising when it actually happened…” placing a hand under her chin he lifted her face to be level with his, “no matter what, they will never make me regret being with you,” her tail started to wag as they embraced in a kiss.

“Am I interrupting?” Alex was standing in the doorway with the phone to his ear, “I’ve called mom, she’ll be home in a few minutes.” He left the two sitting on the couch as he started dialing another number; his foot was tapping as he waited for his dad to pick up. Sure enough the other side of the line finally picked up, “hey dad… something important has happened and we already called mom and she’s already on her way home… can you get time off to come home…? No? Are you sure? It’s kind of important… alright see you when you get home… bye dad” sighing he hung up the phone and headed back to the living room. Opal was sleeping soundly cuddled closely to Mr. Bigglesworth, “Dad will be busy all day so he can’t come home until later tonight. Looks like mom will make the decision huh?”

Looking up Mr. Bigglesworth just smiled, “that’s a good thing right?”

"Well considering she took a liking to you from the start, I’d say so,” the two continued talking for a few more minutes until their mother came in. “Hi,” they said in unison as Opal started to wake up.

“We were about to start the lunch rush, what’s so important I had to come home early?” Belinda has her hands on her hips as she stared at the trio of pets.

Mr. Bigglesworth was the first to speak up, “well… yesterday we joined a new group that was made for all pets called Freedom to Play…” looking to Opal he grabbed her hand as he turned back to her mother, “and well the first thing we did was tell all the dogs about a few of our interspecies relationships… it didn’t quite go well but I wanted to tell my family… the rest of the Bigglesworth hoard.” He started gently stroking Opal’s back as she averted her gaze from her mother as they started to tear again. “well they didn’t take it well either... and… kind of kicked me out… so I have nowhere to stay…” His ears laid flat against his head as he waited for her to respond.

A slight sob could be heard from Opal as her mother frowned, “they just kicked you out? Just like that?” Belinda just stood in shock as the cat nodded his head, “so I take it you need a place to stay? That’s why you’re here right?” Again the cat just nodded, “I’m going to have to talk to my husband about this first, hold on let me call him.”

The three sat in silence as she walked to the kitchen, after a few minutes Alex got up and patted Opal on the back, “don’t worry I’m sure they’ll let him stay, so cheer up a little alright?”

The way he was grinning made her smile a little bit, as she nuzzled into Mr. Bigglesworth, “I hope you’re right Alex, otherwise I’ll bite you.”

“Hey, no need for violence,” Alex lifted his hand in a defensive manner as they all started to laugh a little bit.

After what seemed to be a little over an hour Belinda finally came back into the living room, looking directly at Mr. Bigglesworth “I need to talk to you in private follow me.” Alex and Opal just glanced at each other as the cat got up and followed the woman back to the kitchen. “Listen I had a nice and long conversation with my husband and well…”

The cat’s eyes were firmly fixated on her as he waited for her to finish, as she seemed to stall a bit his ears started to lower against his head again fearing the worst.

Before he could say anything she finally finished her sentence, “welcome to the family!” Belinda gave the cat a big hug as he let out a sigh of relief and smiled, “but as you probably know already you will be staying in Alexander’s room alright? And should your family come around you are more than welcome to stay here or go back. It’ll be your choice.” She was smiling as she patted him on the head, “now go share the good news with the others.” Almost immediately he rushed back to the living room and was soon followed by cheering.

After they finally finished setting up a bed and placing whatever Mr. Bigglesworth had with him they headed back to the living room where Belinda had snacks ready for them all, “Is everything all set up then?” She smiled again as the three nodded cheerfully, “so what will you three be doing now then?”

The three just stared at each other as they all had mouths full of food, Alex was the first to finish so he started things off, “I think we should go check out what the club is up to, I think they were having a meeting or something.” The other two simply nodded as they stuffed more food in their mouth, after finishing the snacks the trio stood up and started for the door, “Thanks for the snack mom! We’ll be back later!”

“Be back in time for dinner!” Belinda called out from the kitchen.

It didn’t take long for the trio to reach Joey’s house, by the time they got there it seemed the discussion was in full swing as Peanut stood in front of the group, “alright so we’ve finally agreed on a location then?” His tail was wagging as he started to smile, they were finally making ground.

As they walked up to the eager dog the three looked over the crowd before turning back to Peanut, “so what did we miss?”

“Oh! We were deciding on a new place to have our meeting and parties and stuff! We decided we’ll go and clean up that old house everyone thinks is haunted. We’ll start tomorrow so if we work hard enough we can get it done quickly.”

“Where are we going to get the money to pay for that though? Wouldn’t it cost a lot?” Mr. Bigglesworth had tilted his head in confusion; it seemed like a lot of work for their small group.

“Well we were going to invite the Milton ferrets to our club, so we thought they may be able to help with that part.” Peanut was still smiling from ear to ear. “It’ll be great I just know it!”

Although it didn’t seem like a full proof plan, the dogs over excitedness was more than convincing that it might actually work. “Alright then, we’ll be here to help out as much as possible then.” As Opal and Mr. Bigglesworth went to take their seats Alex stayed up with Peanut a moment longer as he looked over the crowd again, “so what’s with the husky?” He had a bit of a concerned look in his eye as he signaled to Fox sitting in the back.

Peanut just shrugged off the concerned glance as he looked over to Fox, “Oh, he just came with Zach because as a friend because Zach didn’t want to come alone. He doesn’t really want anything to do with us so he said he was just going to sit in the back.”

“I don’t know if I trust him, but if you do then I guess it’s alright…” Alex just turned to join his sister and Mr. Bigglesworth, throughout the rest of the meeting Alex kept looking back to make sure the dog wasn’t up to something, but every time he did the dog was always staring at the same spot. Finally after the sixth time he followed to where he was looking and was surprised to see it was a cat. “Why is he staring at her?” thinking to himself he started to think we has targeting her for something, “I’m going to have to talk to her as soon as possible…”

Yet another sweet and funny update! Loved it all the way; YAY for Mr. B finding a better family :D :D :D
Which, alas, leads me to a question that I already posted and hadn't found an answer: How is it possible that pets decided who can stay and who can't in their family, since they don't have the legal right to expel anyone?
Same thing for Fido: Unless Ralph applied a specific police K9 corps rule that forbids interspecies relationships, Fido can't be even asked to leave by his peers. Rather, his 'infringement' of the rule should be reported to the higher autorities, who'd eventually decide what to do.
I'm asking because we're talking major changes in these characters' lives, it's not something that can happen out of a gag IMO.
Yes, YES, I overanalyze. Sue me!

The first question is simple. The Bigglesworth's owner is an old lady who is slightly senile, and has ten cats. She would never notice one missing.

As for the k9 corps and Fido? I suppose it would be the pack mentality being disrupted. Fido broke a major rule for dogs, and to force the other K9 unit dogs to work with him would cause disunity and completely destroy the cohesive nature that is necessary for them to work effectively. I don't agree with this, but it is an explanation nonetheless.

:o A bigglesworth broke free from the collective!? I thought that resistance was futile!

That's Mr. Seven-of-B for you
Also, if I were a human seeing that there is a discipline problem in the K9 unit, before expelling a dog I'd impose some serious discipline. All in all, police invested money and time to train a fine dog, they wouldn't discard him, just like any authority wouldn't discard a member out of a minor problem. If it were that easy to be expelled, I doubt there'd exist any K9 corp at all!

I'm kind of curious about whether or not Mr. Bigglesworth is getting a name change. It would be interesting what it would be, and if he would be the one to choose it.

Copper is right about the Bigglesworth problem, due to their mother being the way she is and the vast numbers of them, they can get away with kicking him out. Also, should another family try to right the problem and go to the owners about it, it would be forcing Mr. Bigglesworth to live in a somewhat hostile home due to nobody liking him and the like.

As for the K9 Unit, it comes down to a matter of trust, Fido originally didn't trust the rest of the unit with his relationship, even though it was rightfully so it still breaks the trust. Adding on the fact they don't like cat lovers just makes it worse. With Fido being on the outs of the group the teamwork would suffer, potentially causing the group to fail in whatever they are doing. In the end Fido may end up a hazard to the success rate of the K9 Unit which is a big problem. Also, most of the dog community, and some cats, no longer trust or like Fido so they may refuse his help anyways. His usefulness in the group would suffer as well.

Also, naw I'm not changing his name, but may give him a new B collar with a nifty gem!

That explains everything.

Oh, he just came with Zach because as a friend because Zach didn’t want to come alone.
Repeat error :) You should correct it.

I feel sorry for Mr. Bigglesworth. It's not nice to be thrown from your house by your own family members. It must be hard for him.

But I think he found a good place ;)

As the Freedom to Play meeting was finally drawing to a close, Peanut started to dismiss everyone. Standing up King let out a yawn as he stretched. As Sasha joined by his side he gave the group a quick look through, there was still one person he needed to talk to. Finally spotting Fox he could see he had already joined up with his rabbit friend and was turning to leave. “Hey Fox wait up!” The small Corgi took to a jog to catch up to the husky.

“Now what?” Fox gave a slightly annoyed sigh as he turned to face the small dog, “I know we are leaving fast, but I’m not going to Bino so relax!” Fox didn’t mean to come off as aggravated as he had, but he was slightly on edge while he was around the group. If someone saw him, then everything could just go downhill from there.

“I’m sorry alright, I’m not accusing you of anything right now... I just wanted to talk.” King was beginning to regret accusing him like he did earlier, if there was any hope in restoring any sort of friendship he may have just messed it up.

As Sasha walked up she greeted everyone with her usual smile, “hey Fox! Who’s this?” Holding out a hand she was smiling as big as ever to the rabbit. “Hi, I’m Sasha!”

Zach was a little hesitant at first, he wanted to make friend but she was a little too excited for his tastes... She almost reminded him of Tiger whenever he was in a happy mood. Shaking away the thoughts he placed his hand in hers, “I’m Zach.” He put on the best smile possible as she shook his hand.

As Sasha let go of his hand she immediately turned her attention to Fox, “So where are you heading?”

Fox couldn’t help but smile at Sasha; she was always excited about something, “Well after I take Zach home, I need to go talk to a friend…”

King’s eyebrow immediately went up in a questioning glance, “Who?” crossing his arms the small Corgi started tapping his foot.

Fox’s mind began to race, he knew perfectly well who he needed to talk to but he couldn’t just come out and say it, but he also couldn’t not say something without sounds suspicious… he began to look around frantically to look for an answer but his mind wouldn’t think of anything.

Just before King could ask again another cat came up and joined the group, immediately heading for Zach, “Hi, I’m Allegra nice to meet you.”

Zach just stood silently for a few seconds, he wasn’t sure he liked all the attention from everyone, “Hi I’m Zach…”

King was staring intently at the cat that just introduced herself, the name rung in his head for a few second, “I know I’ve heard that name before…” Thinking to himself his mind began to search for where he knew that name from.

Sasha’s tail was wagging as fast as ever, “I know you! Well… Kind of!” She was practically jumping up and down as she hugged the now slightly startled cat, “do you remember me? You were at the restaurant place when I was on a date with Fido!”

Allegra took a moment to smooth out her fur after she was released by the over excited dog. “How could I forget?” She put on a small smile as she looked at the dog, “you have quite the… unique personality.”

King continued to watch the cat as she talked with Sasha; his mind was in over drive as he struggled to remember. As the sun started to peek out from behind a cloud King had to shield his eyes with his hand, it was then that he noticed the cat’s eyes were about the same shade as the sun and everything began to click. Turning to Sasha he gave her a small kiss, “hey I’ll be right back, I need to talk to Fox.” Almost immediately he pulled the husky away from the group with quick steps. As soon as they were out of ear shot from everyone he wasted no time getting to business, “She is the reason you’re here right?”

At the first Fox was confused by King’s question, “What are you talking…” his voice trailed off as the realization hit him, “I… I told you I only came because Zach wanted to meet new friends… things are weird for him at home…”

“Don’t even start that with me Fox, I’m not as dumb as you seem to think…” King has his arms crossed as he stared at his friend, “you even told me about her remember? So did she even really move or were you just trying to hide something?”

Fox immediately put up his hands defensively, “It’s not what you think King, I… don’t know her…” Fox put on the best aggravated expression he could, “I’ve told you, I’m not a cat lover.”

King wasn’t all to convinced now, “So it’s just a coincidence she has the same name and looks exactly as you described?”

Fox’s fists were beginning to ball, “look either you believe me or you don’t. It’s really not my problem… I’ve told you I’m not a cat lover and I’ll prove it.” Fox left the smaller dog there as he headed back to the cat. As she looked up to the approaching husky his expression made her worry a bit, it wasn’t until he mouthed relax that she finally started to calm down. As he finally reached her he quietly whispered into her ear, “I need your help.” As she just nodded the two started on their way back to King. Keeping his head low Fox continued talking in the lowest voice possible, “meet me at the library later alright? I need to talk to you.”

“Make it Fido’s house” Allegra gave a small smile as she winked to the husky, who just nodded in agreement.

King still had his arms crossed as the two finally reached him, “well? How are you going to prove it?”

Fox just let out an annoyed sigh as he turned to the cat, “Alright, so my friend here seems to think that we know each other. I need to be somewhere so tell him otherwise so I can leave this crazy group of yours and go home.”

Allegra just stared at the two in confusion, “well I know you were the one who hit Fido yesterday… does that count?”

Fox just threw his hands in the air, “this is a waste of time, I could be at home where it’s warm reading a nice book….”

“I thought you had to go see a friend, what happened to that?” King had a raised eyebrow as the bigger dog glared back at him, but he remained unfazed.

“I’m done answering your questions King, if you want to accuse me fine then do it, but I’m leaving.” With that Fox turned and headed back to the group.

Both King and Allegra watched the dog walk off and rejoin his rabbit friend before leaving. “What was that about?” Allegra was shifting her weight around, “did I say something wrong?” She was trying to sound as confused as possible, but it wasn’t coming off as well as she hoped.

Turning his attention to the cat King still had his arms crossed as he let out a sigh, “listen I know you now him… maybe even like him… but it seems neither of you will admit to anything…” King just shrugged as he started back to the group, “just… tell him I said hi when you see him later.” With that King was back with the group and started heading off with Sasha.

Allegra was in a bit of panic as she started towards Fido’s house, someone finding out about them could ruin any chances she had with Fox… taking a deep breath she pushed the thoughts aside as she made her way to her destination. She still had to set up a special date and wanted to get some details for it as soon as possible. Fido and Sabrina were the role models for interspecies relationships, so she wanted it to be perfect.

So King and Fox had somewhat of a talk I suppose... I'd have to say being a former human King ought to be able to catch on to a lot of things easier than most of the dogs. Must be convenient... Anywho so I totally spaced and forgot it was going to be Friday! Almost forgot to update today... that would have been bad! Also, I'm looking forward to Fido and Fox having a good chat!

Helloo? Reality to Fox? You know what we call your attitude here in Italy? 'Il Segreto di Pulcinella'! Are you trying to apply for a split personality class? At least, if you'll start beating King, too, you can plead for insanity!

That's the point. In his mind, he thinks that King will think less of him. Honesty, King can care less from what I see. It will eventually come out.

The weak point I keep seeing in this is, Bino had, in his time FORCED Fox to kick Allegra out of his life. Fox suffered for it...And now, now that he's with her again, now that he's surrounded by pets who'd ACCEPT him wholeheartedly, considering how much conflictual his 'friendship' with Bino has been (Christman catnip bomb anyone?)... Well, he keeps acting as if he totally lacked his spine! That, or Bino must be TOTAL dominant, a real fuehrer!

Man I'm getting real bad to gatting around to responding to everything... sorry people!

Anywho, to start things off I'd like say that at the moment Fox can't really be sure that the group would accept him for two reasons. One, he was the one to punch Fido at the party. Setting him off to be against cat lovers. Two he was also the one who in essence kicked them out of the party, told them to leave anyhow. As far as he is conserned they could think he is a bigger cat lover hater than Bino... The other point is that he just realized he was a cat lover, or at least somewhat accepted the fact, not even a day ago... that's a big shift from being against interspecies relationships to making a complete 180 and being one of them. Completely accepting that change wouldn't be easy... and could cause stress leading to illogical thinking. Which is where Fox is now.

But I can say Fox will be making some big decisions soon, so stay tuned for that!

Sabrina woke up with a yawn, a quick survey around the room told her she was in her room cuddled next to Fido, who with an arm wrapped around her was still asleep. Carefully she slipped out from under his arm and headed for the bathroom to freshen up a bit. A few minutes later she walked back into the room smiling at the sleeping dog. As she looked out the window it seemed to still be about mid afternoon. They still had a few hours before their date, but Sabrina was already tired of sleeping, walking over she gently shook the sleeping dog, “Fido honey it’s time to wake up.” As he finally began to stir he looked up to the black cat and yawned, “Hello to you too.” She giggled a bit before kissing him and taking a spot on the edge of the bed.

Looking around Fido let out another yawn, “why are you up?” stretching a little he made himself comfortable again, “the bed is nice; maybe another hour or so would be good.” Grinning Fido was preparing to go back to sleep.

Sabrina let out a small annoyed sigh, “Fido honey,” slowly she ran a claw down through his chest fur, “take me somewhere NOW!” The sudden outburst caused Fido to jump and fall out of the bed with a loud thud. Smiling Sabrina just peered over the side of the bed, “is that a yes?”

It took Fido a few seconds to realize what just happened, looking up all he could see was Sabrina smiling down to him, “alright alright,” getting up he started brushing himself off before turning back to Sabrina, “so where do you want to go then?”

Looking out the window Sabrina had to think about it for a minute, “well I just want to go out, anywhere!” her tail was swaying as she grabbed her necklace and scarf.

“Alright then,” grabbing his scarf Fido held Sabrina’s hand as they headed out the door, “you mind going to get Spo first? He didn’t like being left at home this morning.”

Sabrina just nodded as she cuddled closer to Fido; the warmth coming from him was perfect as a chilled wind blew by. The walk to Fido’s house went mostly silent but peaceful. As they rounded the last corner they could see a figure standing at the door of Fido’s house. “Were you expecting company Fido?”

Fido just scratched at the back of his head, “Not that I can remember…” As they came closer they were able to recognize the feline standing at his door, “hello, did you need something?”

Allegra just smiled as the pair approached, “there you are! Yeah, I wanted to ask a few things for your date tonight, like if you two have any special requests or anything.” As the three entered the house Fido went to get drinks and Spo as the two females sat in the living room, “So I know you two wanted a date, and I wanted to ask if you’d be alright with getting the whole place reserved for the group. We can invite everyone to have their first official date in public, and have some entertainment provided. Or we can just keep it simple for you and Fido.” Allegra was smiling big as she pulled out her pen and paper to take notes.

Sabrina’s mouth just hung open, “You can get all that? How?”

Allegra’s smile grew bigger, “Is that a yes then?” Sabrina just nodded as she continued on, “I actually know the guy who runs the place, and he owes me a favor. It’s a pretty big favor, but I’m sure he’ll do it.”

“Well it sounds good to me; by the way will you be going with someone? I don’t recall you being with anyone the other day…”

Allegra started to blush slightly, “well kind of… I’m not sure he’d want to go…”

Sabrina started to giggle a little bit, “well, make him want to go, it’s a little known fact that guys like to think they’re in charge but in reality we are!” Sabrina began to grin a bit as Fido came back with drinks and a small mouse on his head, “isn’t that right Fido?”

Missing most of the conversation Fido was a bit confused as to what exactly he was being asked, “Is what right?”

Sabrina kissed him on the cheek and smiled, “just agree with me honey, you know I’m usually right anyhow.”

“She’s right Fido,” Spo had moved down from Fido’s head and was making his way over to Sabrina, “Hi!” Spo was smiling as he climbed up on top of Sabrina’s head.

Allegra just watched in confusion as the cat and mouse greeted each other, “you’re friends with a mouse?”

Before she could answer there was a knocking at the door, “now who is here?” Giving a small sigh Fido got up to answer the door.

As soon as he left a more mischievous grin appeared on Sabrina’s face, “if you need help motivating for the date tonight, Peanut told us about a special spot behind a dog’s ear… I haven’t tried it yet, but we can find out if it works soon enough.”

Fido returned to the living room followed closely by Fox, “Listen Fido, I only came over today because I needed to talk to you… about yesterday… things got out of hand yesterday and I guess I wanted to apologize…” looking around the room he noticed the other two felines sitting in the room. One of which immediately began to smile and blush a bit as she saw him, small details Sabrina happened to notice “even if you’re a cat lover…” Fox held out a hand to Fido, “truce? You were my first friend here; I don’t want things to end on a bad note…”

“You’d end a friendship because he likes a cat?” Fox almost didn’t catch who was talking, but the small mouse made himself known as he jumped from Sabrina’s head, “what are you crazy?”

Picking up Spo Sabrina placed him back on her head scolding him a little bit, “relax Spo, I’m sure they’re not ending anything. After all if I’m not mistaken he’s a cat lover too.”

Fox’s stress levels shot through the roof as the black cat continued to stare at him, as if expecting him to deny it. “What are you talking about? I’m not a cat lover!” his hands were forming into a ball again as he glared at the cat. “How could you say something like…” his voice trailed off as he suddenly collapsed on the floor.

“Fox!” Allegra was the first to his side, she was beginning to panic, “a… are you alright?” picking him up she laid him across her lap as she looked up to the others, her eyes started to water, “what do we do?”

Sabrina was the first to go and comfort the paniced cat, “relax… I may only be a psychic in training but I can tell he was just over stressed; I may have pushed his limits too far with what I said… I’m sorry.” Allegra sniffled a bit as she hugged the husky close.

Fido just stood quiet for a few more seconds before sitting close to the others, “care to explain what’s going on?”

“Fox here has been having internal struggles lately; I’ll take it he just learned of his feeling for you sometime recently?” Sabrina looked to Allegra who just nodded “he’s been fighting with what he’s always believed and now with what he feels. That alone cause a lot of stress for him, but as soon as the topic of cat lovers came up he’d get defensive and it would increase his stress levels. Eventually it became too much for his body to handle, so here he is now... Let him rest, it’s what he needs.”

Spo was the first the react as soon as Sabrina stopped, “so he was giving you trouble for liking a cat, and it turns out he does too? He’s such a…”

Again Sabrina was the one to scold the small mouse, “that’s enough Spo, others reacting like that is probably what kept him from just coming out with his secret…”

Allegra was looking up to the two almost pleading, “Please don’t tell anyone… it would probably make things worse…”

Sabrina moved closer to Fido and started leaning on him, “we can keep a secret, we kept ours for so long…” Smiling she looked up to Fido as she started scratching behind his ear, “isn’t that right honey?”

“That’s riiiii….” Fido’s leg started to kick as his body started to go limp and he leaned over on to her lap. After a few minutes of scratching Fido fell asleep.

Spo looked on amazed, “wow, what did you do to him?”

Allegra was equally amazed as she looked at the sleeping dog, “is that what you were talking about?” She started to giggle a bit as Sabrina just nodded. She just looked down at Fox as he laid in her lap, “and it works on all dogs?”

“Well there is only one way to find out… try it sometime.” Sabrina gave her a small wink as she stroked Fido’s head fur.

The two continued to talk with minor interruptions from Spo for the next hour, until Fox started to stir, his eyes opening a few moments later, “what’s going on?” it took a few moments for him to realize where he was, and more so to realize he was sleeping on Allegra, “what are you doing?” jumping up from where he was his heart was already racing.

Allegra looked up at him a little apologetically, “Fox… they know… I’m sorry…”

Fox’s looked around paniced, his expression eventually settled on one of defeat as he sat down again, “just… don’t tell anyone… alright?”

“If you don’t want us to, we won’t,” Sabrina started to shake the sleeping dog in her lap, “Fido wake up, Fox is up again.”

Fido let out a yawn as he opened his eyes, “when did I fall asleep?” looking around he noticed the husky sitting up right in the corner, “oh, you’re up… you alright?”

Fox just shrugged as he slowly rejoined the group, “I guess there is no denying it now…” his head immediately fell in his hands, “it’s just weird to accept…”

Sabrina was snuggling closer to Fido again, “but it seems unhealthy for you to continue denying it…”

Fox let out a small sigh as he looked up, “apparently… but I don’t want to let everyone know… at least not just yet… we all know Bino is going to try something, maybe I can help you guys out by warning you ahead of time…? So can we at least keep acting like nothing has happened?”

Allegra was slowly making her way closer to Fox, “if it’ll help us out, I’ll agree to it…” she smiled at the husky as she was finally sitting next to him, she was purring as she started nuzzling under his chin.

Fox was caught off guard a bit as she started to nuzzle him, it was a little weird for him but he forced himself to relax, “I guess change was inevitable…” he smiled a bit as he wrapped an arm around Allegra.

After another half hour Allegra stood up and stretched, “I should probably get going so I can get the place ready for tonight.” She waved to the group as she turned to head out the door.

Soon after she left Fox too stood up and started to get ready to leave, “I guess I’ll see you some other time then,” He puts his hands in his pockets as he stepped out the door, “Can’t wait to see what happens when Bino finds out… he’ll probably do something crazy…” he sighed again he made his way back home.

I don't know if it's magic, but I like this one... redid a few parts a couple dozen times but it worked out I think... So Fox is going to be doing some secret agent work, that should be fun. Also ear trick also works on Fido yay! Also hooray for acceptance, it's about time Fox!

I've been following this story for a while now; and, I have to say, it's nice to see Fox finally come around to what his heart already knew.

1 word and a contraction:
I'm hooked!
Sigma (Σ) (Male Tabby Cat)
Dark Sigma (Σ) (Feral and Black version of Sigma)
Frostbyte (Male Alaskan Wolf)
This is how I came up with Sigma

So Fox not only accepts himself, but mends his friendship with Fido as well! Good for Fox.

Now we know that the trick works on Fido. I so want to see Allegra do that to Fox!

Most of the Freedom to Play group had stayed to talk and just hang out long after their meeting had ended. After the recent events most didn’t have many friends outside their new circle of friends so they opted to stay and chat than go out and deal with the criticism they’d get from others. Tarot stood beside Peanut as he was talking away deep in a conversation with Casanova, as her eyes started to glow green she lightly tapped Peanut on the shoulder, “Peanut honey, I’ll be right back,” before he could respond she turned as walked off her mind heading elsewhere, “I knew you’d be awake…”

Sabrina was busy cuddling close to Fido as a projection of Tarot appeared floating in front of them, “hello to you too Tarot.”

“Hey Tarot,” Fido lightly kissed Sabrina on the cheek making her giggle a little bit, “how did Peanut do? Is everything going well?”

“Peanut did fine, and everything is going fine, I just contacted you because I believe Sabrina has something to share about later today?”

Sabrina just rolled her eyes, “seems like you already know about it, so can you go tell Peanut...”

Tarot interrupted before she could finish, “I only know you need to tell us about something for later tonight, but yes I can tell Peanut about it. As soon as you tell me what it is.”

“Right, well Allegra was here earlier and we decided to reserve the whole restaurant for everyone to have their first date in public, or for you and Peanut, just a normal date. So tell Peanut to tell the others to be at HeathCliff’s tonight.” Sabrina was purring happily as Fido had his arms wrapped around her.

As the three were talking Peanut had made his way over to where the Pomeranian was standing, “hey Tarot, who are you talking to?” As Peanut placed a hand on her shoulder his prohection appeared floating next to Tarot in front of Fido and Sabrina, “oh wow this is so cool!” his tail was wagging as he started to float around all over the place. After a short while of floating and spinning around he rejoined Tarot, “hi Sabrina, hey Fido!”

“Hello Peanut,” they both said in unison as they watched the over excited dog. His happy and excited attitude made them both smile. “First time he’s done this?” Sabrina was looking to Tarot as she talked.

Tarot just nodded as she turned to Peanut, “Peanut honey, we need you to go tell the others about going to HeathCliff’s tonight, it’s being reserved for everyone in our group to have their first official date.”

Peanut’s tail was wagging even faster now, “oh cool, alright I’ll tell them.” As he let go of Tarot’s shoulder the projection of him disappeared.

Tarot turned her attention back to the two in front of her, “did you get any sleep at all?”

Sabrina let out an annoyed sigh, “yes I got enough sleep, and I’m fine to be up and about.”

Tarot just nodded before leaving them and her eyes turned to normal, as she rejoined with Peanut he had just finished telling all of who was left the news. Most now were leaving either to freshen up or get a nap in. After they all left the only ones left was Peanut and Joey. Tarot looked at Joey first before turning her attention to Peanut, “did you want to invite Grape too?”

Peanut had to think about it for a minute, Grape hadn’t shown too much interest in what was going on but it would hurt to ask anyhow, “sure.” Before he started off with Tarot he turned back to Joey, “hey Joey, you want to go with us? I don’t really know how to get to the other’s houses yet.”

Peanut gave him a sheepish grin as Joey just smiled and nodded, “sure thing Peanut.” The trio didn’t take long to reach their first destination. After the short distance they were already standing at Peanut’s front door.

As they entered the house, Peanut called out in his normal fashion, “Graaaaape!!!”

Sure enough the purple feline made her appearance looking slightly annoyed as their cousins came shortly after, “what is it Peanut?”

Before Peanut could answer, their three cousins started to giggle as they noticed Joey standing with him, “hey it’s that cute city dog!” The three immediately surrounded him and pulled him to sit with them on the couch.

Peanut smiled as he watched Joey, he was the only one who didn’t freak out around them. As he turned back to Grape she had her arms crossed looking slightly annoyed still, “hey Grape, we wanted to see if you wanted to go to HeathCliff’s with Maxie today. We are getting the place…”

Grape cut in before he could finish, “sorry Peanut, he called earlier today, he had to cancel our date… apparently he got in trouble with Bino again…” She was about to head back to her bed when she stopped and looked back at Peanut, “and I’ve told you, only I can call him Maxie.” She gave him a small smile before turning to leave.

As Peanut turned his attention back to Joey, all he could see was a fur pile of the cats laying on top of him, he was smiling as big as ever as he looked up to Peanut, “ready to go Joey?”

The three felines whined as Joey nodded, “do you have to go already? We were just getting comfortable,” loud purring could be heard as they nuzzled into the dog.

Joey just looked up to Peanut with a small grin, “is Grape going?” as Peanut shook his head Joey looked back to the felines with him, “maybe they can walk with us? Grape didn’t seem to really want company anyhow…”

The three stood up as Joey did, “she probably just down about her date with that Maxwell, they spent most of yesterday planning their date today… she wasn't happy when he canceled. "Panini was playful swaying her tail under Joey’s chin, “so sugah, what is HeathCliff’s?”

Joey’s attention went to the orange cat in front of him, “oh it’s a small place where most of us pets go to eat, that’s not in a house.” His tail was wagging as her tail made another sweep under his chin, “someone is getting it reserved tonight for our group that Peanut is leading.”

As Panini had her attention on Joey the other two sisters looked over to the Pomeranian standing with Peanut, “hey hun, you must be Tarot,” Rachel was holding out a hand to the smaller dog.

Tarot shook hands with them both and smiled a bit, “nice to meet you.”

As they made their way out of the house Peanut and Tarot walked with the two cats as Panini and Joey walked just behind them, “so sugah what do you do for Peanut’s group? You seem to be around a lot for all his planning.”

Joey had to think about it for a second, “well I’m mostly just here to help out any way I can,” he was smiling big, “I got most of the group together, I was the one who knew everyone who was in an interspecies relationship before my brother came out with his big news, so I brought them all together. Now I’m just helping Peanut while my brother is busy.”

“Really?” a more mischievous grin grew across her face, “so you stay behind and let others take the spotlight? You ain’t one for being upfront?” Her grin grew bigger as he shook his head, “well hun, what if others were upfront for you?”

“Well I guess that would be ok, if…” Joey was cut off as the orange cat leaned in and kissed him, his tail was wagging franticly as he realized what was happening.

As she pulled away from the now overly excited dog Panini gave him a smile, “good, then take me with you when you go to HeathCliff’s.” She was giggling as Joey was muttering gibberish, “ya’ll city dogs are cute.” Her sister's were giggling as they watched the two. She stayed near Joey as the group made their rounds to everyone who didn't know about the plans yet.

Not sure how I feel about this one, but I have to say most should have seen this coming! Yay for Joey getting a date! Should be fun!
