What you may ask? "This thing" Is called the peanut butter and jelly sandwich, it is a sandwich that includes a layer of peanut butter and either Grape jelly or Jam...I've probably eaten thousands by now, It is not cannibalism is it? ...Maybe.

How nice that you clarified, because my imagination had time to draw me a less pleasant scenario... ;)

Rick, please come clean for us. When is this arc going to be over? It's been a whole month, and this is one of the longest arcs I've had to go through, so if you'll please allow me to be completely honest:
I DO NOT LIKE IT!! It is completely boring and I am sick and tired of being disappointed every single update in hopes that it will all be over. Every comic you made was worth viewing up to this exact point. After that it all went downhill for me. As soon as I saw "Ocean's Two" I knew this was going to be a disaster. I knew you were going to spend a long period of time away from the characters we all used to love. I cannot even comprehend how disappointed I am. Don't get me wrong, I loved the arc about King, and all arcs previous. I still love the comic in general. The epic plot-twists were the reason I became a fan, and I really hope you have a good one planned this time.

This is the exact reason somebody made the signature "(Grape+Peanut)<---They are waiting for that!" I am as well. I know that I'm not the only one with these feelings.

This comic meant a lot to me, and it still does, but the reason I loved it so much was because it used to be funny. What happened to all the funny?

So, just tell us when this will be over. Please, Rick, just tell us there will be a light at the end of this tunnel, and when we all will pass through.

Sincerely,
-Clarke B. Macbeth

I have found the strips no less funny based on a lack of Peanut or Grape. Of course, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

As for when the current arc will end, have you ever heard that a watched pot never boils? *laughs* It could be tonight; it could be a week from now! Of course, it could also be a month from now. Rick does as he pleases, not as others would have him do. (I find integrity to be an admirable quality, by the way.)

On the subject of Peanut + Grape, they were together in the last comic! (Probably as close as you're gonna get, at least for the immediate future.)

Miles puts Fido to shame. XD

and Rick, i understand BlueArmy's response may have felt a little harsh, as i see it's moreso a problem with lack of any pet activity at all in this arc, really. but i also felt it was just slow.

Maybe in the future you can have the Ferrets hire a Professor! <3

I really love this focusing on different chararacters. I still hope that we'll see Peanut+Grape one day, but so far this comic has never lost appeal.

"One month is so long that I am going to start hating a webcomic that has been awesome for almost two years because of it."

But I kid. I've done something similar before anyway, so I can't (without being hypocritical) complain about other people's complaints. I liked this arc. I'll agree it might have been a slow start, but since it's gotten into it it's been good for me.

Well on the one side, we have people saying they want to see other characters than the ones we already see too much of, and the people who love the old characters for both the sake of familiarity and favoritism. The comic never got boring IMO, as we at least get to know better, the other characters.

Keeping on topic though, two things. Lana. Amazing texter to get the message to Miles that fast. Miles. Amazing reaction time and speed to get to Thomas just in time. Reaching slightly maybe? I dunno maybe it's just me. Unless there are indeed secret passages all over the place. In which case it might actually make sense since the guards would need a detailed map of every nook and cranny of the estate for security purposes.

Heh, Thomas made the mistake of not swiping the hand held...SHE EVEN SAID SHE WAS TEXTING! When someone says they are texting the guards...Just grab it and run! ...Also, looks like the wolves outshine police dogs by far. Fido...looks you have some competition.

With two big wolf guards who will get all feral on you if you hurt any of the ferrets.. it's best to make the run for the exit, than try to slap something out of the hands of a very fast an slinky predator.. not to mention ferrets have nice long, needle sharp teeth as well.

Further kudos to Miles for being capable of deciphering Lana's chatspeak that quickly.

true, Lanna (or the other ferrets) must send texts to the guards quite a bit.

...That or Miles texts...

which seems highly unlikely, but who knows.
Rick knows.

actually, yeah Keys seems to be different from what I imagined he'd be from previous comics. odd.
Still doesn't quite answer the question of whether or not he's male or female though.

The thing about passive-aggressive people is that they seem normal, right up until they don't. Then it's just awkward and nobody's sure what might provoke semi-rage. I like Keys's characterization in this light. x3
