UBER JOY: got the highest exam result of my geology class, I havn't had top grade since year 6 which was 7 years ago.
Sorrow/facepalm of horror: though it was the highest grade it was only a D grade... only two other people got an actual grade. one other D and an E. everyone else got a U...ouch

Geology seems like a really challenging course. One of my friends has taken it and got a D as well. I believe the challenge comes in the awkwardly worded questions?

The mark scheme is unbelievably pinikity. There are mostly long awkwardly questioned one mark answers with a ridiculous time constraint which puts you in the most pressure I have ever felt in an exam. Technically I should be in year 13 now but I failed geology last year which meant I had to retake year 12. another year and still only a D grade. it is still an improvement though as I got an E and a U overall last year. but the level of failure that this class had makes me think that it cannot be their intelligence as some of them are quite bright. I think it may have been a dodgy couple of exams. evidence being almost everyone failed the biology exam aswell and I did somehow worse on a test I have already done twice before. so yeah I think we had some dodgy exams

Blech: In a few minutes, my clock will switch over from 11:59 PM to 1:00 AM. Or maybe 1 o'clock goes missing and it skips from 12:59 to 2:00, I dunno. Point is, I'm losing an hour of sleep and that makes me... tired, I guess.

I can't say for sure what quality of water the East Lansing Ihop uses but I was refering to the fact that it was absolutely disgusting.
But hey it made people laugh and I got a dollar, so it was worth it.

I'm sure your bed is quite fond of you. In my expierience beds are some of my most loyal friends

Just keep your chin up and try to get through it, that's really the only advice I can give.

confusion: apparently, last semester, I was supposed to sign up for two Judo classes. one for each half of the semester. So technically, I just twisted my ankle in a class in which I am not enrolled.

I really appreciate both of you wanting to help.

The part I CAN tell you (another part I cannot) is that I fear I may be underweight (low 140's and 5 1/2 feet tall), and that I feel a constriction in my throat which I HOPE is only allergy-related. And the night before last, I had what I call "day-mares"--like nightmares except I was awake.

I'm not having the best morning, and some of this problem is chronic. I need to stop going without eating, and start exercising more.

And the worst part I can't say on this forum at all.
