First things first, I like a few disturbed songs. 'Down with the Sickness' being one I love.

in other news, I found this song and love it. <3 Oddly enough, it's outside my usual style, but I really love the 'boom' it showcases every so often ^^

I'm not really sure that's screamo. That's an often misused term for any music with screaming, when in reality I think it's a subgenre of emo music. I could be wrong; I'm not an expert on any of that stuff.

Richard Cheese's cover of Down With the Sickness is excellent. I can't link it though.

It's not screamo, it's Metal/Nu Metal. If it was screamo, the majority of the lyrics would be unclean vocals, not just the curse words.

(Is a huge Disturbed fan, for reference)

Well, I must defend Disturbed, that's not screamo, this is for me 100% screamo Evangelion. This is Polish band called Behemoth, they could be great band, both guitarists are good, drumer is in my opinion one of the best in the world right now, only this vocal .....

And yes, Disturbed is very good band and they keep a constant level, below which they don't descend. But I see I forgot to give a link to my favourite song by Disturbed - The Game

Also not Screamo. Once again notice how it doesn't sound anything like the two links I posted earlier.

It's amazing people call things that aren't even remotely related to Screamo, Screamo.

Nightwish - Sleepwalker

This video was recorded in 2000 and it was on a qualifications to Eurovision. They didn't qualify, they were second (but they crushed opponents in in the viewers voting). This could be the best song in the history of Eurovision ;)

I dunno why, but I'm particularly fond of this song by Megadeth. Also, I'm finding the original to be better than the Remastered, although, sadly, the remastered is the only one on iTunes, and the CD of the Original is like finding a needle in a hayfield.

Yea, some remastered Megadeth apparently has re-recorded vocals and certain guitar lines by Mustaine. At least it's not as bad as that Blizzard of Oz remaster.

Isn't the point to share music we haven't heard before?

I have to say, Polish soul/metal singing is downright hypnotic.

Yeah, we've got couple of good bands/artists, but all of them aren't very popular in Poland, for example Hunter, Acid Drinkers, even known in foreign countries Vader and Behemot.

So, there has recently been an unconfirmed leak that Dream Theater will be replacing Mike Portnoy with Mike Mangini. I'm pretty impressed, but at the same time what you can find on YouTube is not quite comparable to what he'd play with the band. Part of me is excited, but I also don't expect it to be an improvement.

Well, not every change is for good. For example my favourite band - Nightwish. They kicked out Tarja Turunen who is perfect singer, she is good at albums, but on the concert she can destroy you her voice. They changed her (with her operas like voice) for Anette Olzon who has very similiar type of voice like Amy Lee from Evanescence. In the past they were one of the best bands on live, nowadays they sounds good only on the album, no more on live.
