according to a layout artist on the show, Derpy's role will still be the same as before, only now her appearances will be planned out in the storyboard
so essentially, the animators are getting in on the Derpy fandom

Ya know, I don't want to come across as not appreciating the work and talent of all the writers, storyboard artists, and animators working on the show. I think we all understand that they play just as big as, if not bigger, role in what we see on-screen than the Lady Faust does, and they deserve just as much recognition for their work.

It's just...I don't know why, but the Lady Faust always represented to me that the show was protected from the Hasbro execs. That it wouldn't get turned into a 30-minute commercial or something. That's what really gives me this weird feeling in my gut when I think about how she's no longer involved. I hope I'm making sense and am not just getting annoying for still being on this topic.

If I am being annoying, I will happily accept a slap to the face with a fish.

I took you guys' advise, I gave MLP a chance. The show isn't bad at all, suprisingly, its actually great! Im 20 years old, and im an auto mechanic.

The show kinda remends me of PeeWee's playhouse. It is written for kids, though they throw in some jokes for adults, so that when the parents have to watch the show with their kids, it actually is entertaining for both parties.

I watched only three episodes on youtube so far. The first three. I was watching the fourth, but I got called into work extra early the other day. Any episodes that stand out that you would reccomend?

I'm not sure on the episode numbers, but "Dragonshy", "Feeling Pinkie Keen", "Show Stoppers", and "Party of One" are some of my favorites. Glad you like the show.

A Friendship is Magic movie would be awesome, I can imagine the teaser trailer for it now!

Begin with a black screen. Suddenly a rip goes down the middle as if it's cloth and a Ponyville street can be seen, with Pinkie Pie staring there looking at the audience. She starts hopping around talking about how excited she is that she's gonna be in a movie, and that the audience is going to love the awesome adventures they're going to get in, and so on and so forth. As she talks Twilight Sparkle can be seen slowly approaching from behind Pinkie, obviously confused about what's going on.

"Pinkie, who are you talking to?"

Pinkie giggles and wraps a foreleg around Twilight's shoulders, leading her away. "Oh, no one...I hope ya like Hayllywood!"

"What!?"

Cut to black. Show title and release date. ^_^

Haha, I just told some of the guys at work about the show and how awesome it is... They instantly started making fun of me! You can just picture what they are saying to me now! I can't say because some rules would have to be broken in the process, due to profanity. Its all in fun though, that's the way we joke around at my job.

I think Apple Jack and FlutterShy would have still found theirs eventually. Pinkie would probably become the worlds richest rock farmer by the time she's and adult. Rarity would realise she's not actually that good at designing cloths and become a singer or something. Twilight would probably have her Pheonix moment sometime later and realise her magic. So everything would be fine exept Celestia would have to find a new element of laughter, but that shouldn't be so hard. That and no spike.
