Hi there~
Well, I've been enjoying Housepets! for a few days, and I've only known that there's a forum as well. Might as well join!

I was browsing through the fan arts and I really like what I see so far. I don't have any skills in drawing any living things, but I would really like to contribute something.

So instead I did this:
Housepets! Collar Collection Part 1

Nothing original, but this is what I can do for now. Some of the designs are kinda off, like Tarot's eye of ra, because I'm not good with Photoshop (well, not PS per se, I made this using another unrelated software).

There are a few questions that arise while I was making (dunno the correct term, but it is certainly not drawing) this:
1) In Rick's current style, are there still any chains linking the pendant and the collar itself?
2) Does Fox have a collar under that bandana?

Well, that's about it. Hope everyone likes this, and I'll make the second part later, after I've had enough sleep.

Edit: I made a huge mistake in naming Keene as Milton... So here's the corrected version.

Yea, he has a collar

It was shown in few strips, like in this one. it's just well hidden

Well, I did saw that one, but in the most recent comic arc (Not All Dogs), Fox doesn't seem to be wearing a collar. But yeah, I agree with both of you, hence the collar in the linked picture. Also, I somehow prefer him with a collar anyway.

I'm really not sure about Sergeant Ralph's and the Miltons' collars.
I've also added the correct collar design for King, I forgot the chess piece in the first one.

Another doublepost...
Anyway, I was thinking of what sliceofdog was saying before, and well, I tried drawing a Housepets character, despite never having drawn anything before. But then, I got the idea to draw one roughly based on myself. I first tried hand-drawing:

But then, I don't have any scanners and my camera's image is really heartbreaking.

So, I made a digital version of the drawing:

I think they look sorta OK, but I still prefer the hand-drawn version though.

Both took around 8 hours each to draw, and I'm kinda exhausted from drawing.
