I think that Stripe is my new favorite Spot character.

It isn't just you. I've noticed it also. Though he is the opposite of Rex.

I believe the term is "Write Who You Know."
Seems that after doing something for years, you were bound to show improvement. You know, while I'm not able to always find old comics, the ones I do barely glance at are Superman comics. Sadly, he was never my favorite hero. I preferred Spider-Man.

Farewell, lines on paper. You will be missed. But it is still good to Peanut getting better at drawing.

Either Joey is one heck of a teacher, or Peanut didn't really need lessons...

The art improves under Joey’s care
And, even though you may not believe it,
There’s something of a plot in there.
Fast action and disconnected panels
Were the way they went in those days;
The golden age of heroic annals.
They never lingered in the moment,
They never let talking slow the plot
Or leave the hero in any torment.
Some may know where this is wending,
But all we other fans know is that,
Unlike some stories, it has an ending.

The Spot (Superdog) comic, now not drawn on loose leaf paper. I might actually miss that.

He might be NOW but this is based on 1939 comics, when newspapermen were a lot more important.Argent wrote:I thought Spot was a professor.

Good job Spot. That is literally the only answer to everything.

Why are the bank robbers dancing? Why's even Spot dancing? That reminds me of a Bollywood movie...

Very nice strip, so that's the one Peanut brought to Joey. It's well made, and yes, he's improving a lot. Eh, that's the usual life of Spot (Superdog). You've been lucky with those robbers. Oh, finally, better use the force than the brain, because you've always failed at it.
That's an hard dilemma... I would guess that there's also Peanut's natural talent for drawing.valerio wrote:Either Joey is one heck of a teacher, or Peanut didn't really need lessons...

I think I see a bit of Joey's influence in the comic but not much.

King looks an awful lot like my own Corgi. That's one reason why he's my favorite, but I also like his attitude.

HAHA! Spot just became a whole lot more like me.
This sounds like something I would say when people ask me qeustions or tell me stories like this."Apearently I am a police detective"
If I hit someone with a dictionary is that physical, or verbal assault?

J.K. Simmons as Houndstooth. And slandering Spot for working with the agency with a cigar in his mouth every comic. Alas, no cigars in this comic =P

I'm sure he knows and was just joking about it.
Re: 2016/01/11 - The Weekly Of Spot
But the comic is set WAY before there was a problem with smoking in a comic...
Re: 2016/01/11 - The Weekly Of Spot
Not saying he should have a cigar - i'm just saying he reminds me of a certain someone that wants pictures of Spiderman. That cigar he always had was part of his character as well. :3
