Somehow, glasses are really trendy today. They even make a person look cool.

Sometimes that makes me jealous, because I don't need glasses ;p ( But afterall, I can still wear sunglasses...)

In some cases, yes, but I don't think Sasha's owner has the same mindset. He's also an alcoholic. So he's not always in his mind, let alone in the right mindset to act like a parent. It's kinda like in real life. Children that have alcoholic parents are not treated well. Same may go for Sasha's dad.
