The Moon Howler wrote: "Hush!" Balkan cut him off, raising his head "Ah'm awake for some time now, but she's still sleepin." he whispered as he slowly stood up, careful not to wake his mate Charlie. "I rather leave 'er rest a while longer before taking 'er back to da r'sort." He pushed the Spitz to the middle of the room and then slided the blanket so that she'll remain away from the sounds.
"Ah, now that's done..." Balkan looked around "...'tis time ta find ye two some breakfast, yes?" he asked
''Oh er...sorry!'' Randy whispered, not minding his manners for Balkan. He smiled as he slid away quietly from the sleeping female Lycaon. He nodded when Balkan mentioned to get something to eat. ''Yeah sure! I'm starving....not sure 'bout Koros though...she didn't talk to me when I greeted her...'' Randy said, turning his attention to the lioness. ''Hey Koros! Me and bro here are gonna get some breakfast. You want anything?'' Randy asked.

Tiara smiled as her paws caressed the fur behind his neck. Giving him another kiss again, she bowed her head in gratitude playfully. ''Why thank you lieutenant! I'll be waiting for you here then..'' Tiara said, giving him another naughty wink. She giggled as she turned her attention to the fallen Kaiser. ''Your partner is such a sweetheart. So Kaiser....are you gonna plan a visit to Mae soon? I think she may be missing you already...'' Tiara asked, reaching out a paw to help him up.

Lars' face lit up at the words of Shaman Yago. ''Wow really?'' Lars said excitedly, perking his ears up. He flexed his muscles with glee and stretched his tank like body. ''Well if that's the case, this dog here is ready to sweat it out. En garde!!!!'' Lars said, stancing in a fighting position.

[quote="valerio"
The male lycaon known as Virgil decided he could wait for his new friend, the ferret Tacite, to wake up despite his body's need to stand up and run, jump, hunt do *anything* rather than laying in that human construction where she lived.
---
Tacitē's eyes fluttered open and she sat up, surveying the room sleepily, her mother had already gone off to her lab and Virgil was awake. Rubber her eyes with one hand, the ferret rapped out a series of dots and dashes on the wall, translating to, "Goodmorning, Virgil. Where is my notebook?" in morse code. With a start, Tacitē scrambled from the bed and up to Virgil, panic spreading across her face, unable to articulate her thoughts to the lycaon. She tried to gesture to Virgil as hard as she could to convey an apology for her inability to communicate properly

Of course, Levi was still scared for his life under the mask of bravery. He was more of a runner than a fighter.
hey Barty. Anything you can do here, or am I on my own?
the spectral lycaon giggled. <Sorry, but I am enjoying this too much for now, pal. That means you're on your own.>
At Levi's words, the bearish dog charged!

The dark man nodded. "Professional is requiredd, but I like it when a guide got the sense of adventure: it helps the tourists feel at ease, and not some goofy dorks. Plus, you know what is dangerous and what is not... But you still need to learn a lot about this place: Meriweather Island, or Tricana as its natives call it, is literally filled with surprises. Both lycaons nodded. Humphrey got up and went to a jar. He opened it and took rations of sweet salted dried fish. He brought them to his brother and his mate. You're a great friend Barty, The cat thought sarcastically as he dove out of the way of the charging dog and rolled back to his feet.
he looked around for his Kunai pouch, but saw it was on the other side of the room. Plus, this guy was a jerk, but he didn't deserve a kunai.

"Look, I'm sure you're very strong, and one hit from you could probably put me in the hospital for a year, but look at yourself. You feel entitled to Alyse just because of your physical attributes. Is it any wonder she doesn't want you as a boyfriend? You're a self-centered, short-tempered jerk. Now I suggest you get out before you do anything you'll regret."

Isaac facepalmed. The eagle chuckled.

Isaac raised an eyebrow. "Really? I thought you'd join the eggheads here, then. Couple of them majored with a thesis on the glowbats. But let's go." He started walking toward the forest. They say that it takes the first kilometer here, to learn a lot."

Again, Levi dove out of the way. He was more of a defensive fighter. However, this time he stuck his leg out to trip the big dog.

Cassius tripped into the feline leg and dove headfirst into the wall, with an impact that made it tremble.
"Ouch, that must hurt," Alyse commented.
Then the dog turned, revealing the indentation his skull had left into the wall...while he was only even the more enraged.
"And that will hurt even more, luv," the female said to Levi. "I hope you can run."
---
As they were surrounded by the green, Icarus took off. Isaac picked up a red, white-spotted berry from a bush. "Now, what have do you know about our flora and fauna so far?"

Randy shielded his eyes with an arm as the lioness began flooding the hut's interior with the light illuminating from her body. The heat started to seep beneath Randy's skin, and he could have sworn that he felt his blood boil a little.

Steadily creeping towards Balkan, he positioned himself behind the half wolf as he watched in terror. ''Argh....what's happening Balkan? What's wrong with Koros???'' Randy asked.
---
Tiara pouted playfully. ''Yeah I know. I just happened to pass by and I wanted to cheer my boyfriend on. But rest assured....this will be the last time sir...'' Tiara said firmly, saluting the lieutenant.
---
Lars yelped as he found his back held tightly against the wall, like some invisible force clamping him down. He sighed, not surprised by the sudden action, but chuckled slightly as his own shortcoming. ''Alright alright, forgive me for being the eager beaver. I just wanted to have the taste of combat again.'' Lars said, following Yago as he was released from the force.

"Ahm gonna finde us da new hut. We'll be the envy of da whole village!"

We went to the beach. And Martin went off for awhile to do his own thing for alittle bit..." The white furred dog shrugged. "Not really much else. Went to get some drinks at this one place." He licked his lips at the thought. "Tasted really good. But...I don't think that Lily told us what it was... And... That was it. Came back here and crashed on the bed."
Flint crossed his arms and his gaze drifted to the sleeping shepherd. "Hey... Umm. Mr. Meyers. Is he goin through so stuff right now?... Cause... He seemed...'off' last night when we were walking, and when he went off by himself it got me wondering... Y'know, he never told why he came here..."
Mr. Meyer shook his head "All I can tell ya, lad, is that Martin is going through difficult period in his life. Although he's too proud to admit it, he needs support more than ever." The old man looked at the shepherd "But it will be him that will give you the entire story, Flint. I have no right to do so... nor the wish..."

Balkan frowned "Ah do not know, but it feels wrong." He looked back at the Spitz "Stand back, Randy and stay strong!" Balkan quietly growled, then turned to the shining Lioness, narrowing as his white eerie flames engulfed him and spoke in the wolf tongue "Eerie flames, engulf that lioness. Seal the magic she now uses for the safety and prevent her from any abuses!" the words came out of his mouth and with his voice, but they came out on their own.
The Eerie flames slowly left Balkans body and surrounded the lioness. Though she was still emanating light, it was bearable and the heat sensation disappeared.
The half-wolf shook his head and held it with a paw "That was... unexpected." he grumbled.

Koros blinked, then turned a funny look at her hosts. She looked both puzzled and upset. "Is that the way to treat someone who is feeding?" she asked, as if addressing a couple of unknowing pups.

"Feedin?" Balkan raised an eyebrow "Ya should alert before doin' anything like that." he pointed out and stretched his paw towards the feline "Eerie flames, return to me!" again he unintentionally said those words. It was as if his body was acting on his own, at his mere thought.
The Eerie flames left the lioness and sunk in his paw.

Koros stood up. "As much as we still use food and water, the Revered Sun is our source of life. Every day, we drink its energy. Now, if you shall excuse me..." Again she focused and her body glowed with renewed intensity. Tgen the light faded out. "It is done. What are your intentions for the day, Ambassador?"

Martin on the other side just mumbled something illegible under his nose and turned the other way, continuing to sleep as if nothing happened around him. One word he mumbled afterwards "Banitsa!"

A look of disbelief spread across Flint's face. One ear raised, with the other lowered. "But...how" He ran over to the other side of the bed, abandoning his quietness. "MARTIN! WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UP!" He yelled, poking the shepherd's shoulder. More annoyed now then amused.

Martin opened his eyes as he felt someone poking him. He saw Flint. The shepherd narrowed and stood up to sitting position. He removed a couple of earplugs from his ears "What is it, Flint? What time is it?"

Virgil took the notepat that he had put down under his pillow. "Hey, relax, here it is. Your human gave it to me, said you had an habit to toss it down during your sleep. Oh, and nice Morsing, by the way."
Tacitē gratefully took the pad and wrote, "Thank you on both accounts, Virgil." She stretched and fixed her collar, "Care for breakfast? I know the food here it's too good, but it'll keep you alive."

The Moon Howler wrote:Martin opened his eyes as he felt someone poking him. He saw Flint. The shepherd narrowed and stood up to sitting position. He removed a couple of earplugs from his ears "What is it, Flint? What time is it?"
"Oh. Earplugs..." Flint huffed. His plan foiled by two small rubbery stubs. "It's morning." Answering Martin's question. "Goood Morning." He said in a very sarcastically cheerful voice (accompanied by a grin) before suddenly walking away back towards the balcony.
"Sleep is due to me... And I have a dream to live."

Martin just stared at Flint for a while before the other dog went to the balcony.
"Weirdo..." he mumbled, jumping off the bed and began stretching, followed by a short morning aerobics.

Flint stepped onto the balcony and yawned again, sleepiness still not completely out of his system. The dog walked over and sat in one of the balcony chairs, enjoying the morning breeze.

Isaac nodded. "And that is why many degrees have been forged here. Now, upon seeing a berry like this, what would you think?" he held out the fruit.

Levi once more dodged and ran to the open window. he grabbed the window sill and rotated his body out so that he was now facing into the room while hanging out of the window.
"Later," he said before he started to quickly climb down the drain pipe (which, for Levi's safety I'm assuming exists on this house and was right next to the window and he saw it last night. Otherwise, jumping out of a window would be a very stupid thing to do.), giving him a secure lead on the big dog since that thing would not hold his weight.

"well," Drake said, taking a closer look at the berry, "I've seen some berries that looked similar. most were hallucinogenic, most were in my college dorm."
"Usually they're poisonous to animals, but sometimes they're just adapted to look like poisonous berries," Diana said, adding her opinion.

"Think you're smart, cat?!" Cassius leaned out of the window...and jumped down! His legs muscles flexed like steel ropes when he landed with a loud 'thud'. "Now, where were we, girl-stealer?!"
---
Isaac nodded. "'Bright' is dangerous, correct. The more colorful prey species such as insects and smaller animals stand out to warn their predators that they are not worth the risk. Bright fungi follow the same rule... But fruits, well, it's different with them: the more they stand out, the easier they get eaten, the faster the plant's seeds are spread." Isaac popped the berry into his mouth. Hmm, tastes like chicken... Ok, no, it really tastes like vanilla strawberry. Want one?" he picked two and handed them to his pupils.

"heheh. Here," he said with a nervous laugh as he went to climb back up the drain pipe and onto the roof.

"Sure, I've never been one to turn down new foods," Drake said as he popped it into his mouth.
Diana did the same.

Much against several acquired rules regarding dogs, Cassius too started clambing up the pipe. Once he was up on the roof, the chase was up and again!

Isaac nodded again. "Good. The real downside with these kind of berry bushes is that they serve as bait."

The Moon Howler wrote: Balkan crossed his arms on his chest "You an' Randy will be delivered to Salisgrave, where mah duty to ya is complete. Afterwards, it be up to ya to do whatever yer heart desires... that is, given Randy have his wish for being a whole day with his mate." He looked at where his own mate was sleeping "Da rest be my personal business."
Randy nodded. He briefly scrubbed his fur up and down using a paw, still feeling the after effects from Koros' ''feeding''. It almost felt like an overheating sauna!

''Yup. Koros. I think it would be great if you met my wife too. She may not be to swallow my whole story all at once, but it would be better if you filled her in with the details. Ever since I disappeared in front of her and had been in uh...you-know-where for a day, I think I owe her an explanation...'' Randy said.

Randy smiled and turned to Balkan. ''Alright then, brother. Shall we head out to Salisgrave??'' Randy asked, wagging his tail in excitement.

Of course! I'm just terrified of pups. I haven't the foggiest idea how to raise them.

Again that sly grin ran between Adrian's mates. "Now we know where to go!" Humphrey grabbed Adrian by under his arms and placed him over his shoulders. "Love, time to meet the monsters!" And both ran out of their hut.

"Oh come on, HOW DID THAT EVEN HOLD YOUR WEIGHT!?" Levi yelled as he continued running towards the end of the roof. It was becoming more and more evident he'd have to go on the offensive. He reached to detach his kunai tag from his collar... but then he remembered he hadn't had time to put his collar back on when he got up. Son of a... He thought while he reached the end of the roof... and jumped, hoping he could reach the next nearest rooftop, or grab on to something as he fell.
