I prefer disc format. True from your ecological point of view it kills trees and all that, but it saves space on my hardrive and makes me feel like I actually have something. I hate having a game with ought the case, and having it with ought the disc only feels worse.

On another note. Does anyone else love anime openings. Every time the translate a game over and get rid of its Japanese song only to replace it with an uninspired sounding orchestral track I feel sad inside.

I think discs are dumb. Loading times are frustrating; I'd rather have solid-state media like the DS/3DS games. That, or purely digital.

I like discs but they scratch up but pure information can build up and catch viruses so they both are ok

For me it mostly has to do with being a materialist I guess. Its hard to admire or show off data.

I prefer digital distribution, especially when you can borrow extra fast internet from a school, friend, or the library. It also helps keep your save games around during reinstalls or multiple computers which happens to me quite a bit.

I just had an awesome night at an arcade near me. I played a lot of Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition with 2 friends. I trolled them the first half of the night, but after our Burger King run I got mostly crushed. Sad Banana Ken is sad... but soon I will have an xbox so I can practice like a boss. (I fail at input so hard)

I guess since this thread is about games, it can be about any genre?

Umm, I finally beat that for the first time, it was so hard when I played the GBA version in my childhood. ^^;

Image
And me and my brother played this one. The two player was nice, except my brother stole all the extra health so he had 5 hearts and I had 2. ^^;
It also had nothing to do with a circus except for the first level.

Ohh, and HORRAY CAPCOM for tending to only make great games. ^^

There are many many different ones, so I can not really tell you. If you chanced outfits, then it is the one I stated. If you attacked with a cape, it would be this one:

There are many more different games of theirs, but I can not really tell you which one you played without more information. XP

It didn't have Donald I don't think. I remember it having different levels based on different shorts and movies. The first level was Steamboat Willie themed, I remember.

There we go!

I have no idea if that game or a lot of the games I played as a kit are any good, but I remember enjoying that one at least.

All Mickey Games in the past were epic. They never really did much wrong, (Except Fantasia) now things tend to have a severe problem, like the New Mickey Game is just one big Fetch Quest. ^^;
We need more simple stuff sometimes, because you can not go very wrong on those types of things.

Need to find a TV and play through that again sometime. I had so much fun with that, I beat it 2-3 times, leveling up to 99 an everything. Great game.

Aww, I miss playing KHII, I never got to finish the game, which is rather sad.

Another great game on the PS2 in my opinion is Okami, managed to invest 60 hours into it before the disk broke...
Gotta find me another copy one day~

My friend finally beat Tales of Symphonia after like four years, so now I need to uphold my end of the bargain and play Kingdom Hearts II. I hope it's as good as they say!

No, it's not boring. But it misses the feel of the first four games.

So, I just downloaded OSU (osu? Osu?) after seeing a couple of people with stuff about it in their signatures.

My first thought: Hey, this is game is pretty cool.

My second thought: WOW, I'm bad at this game. XD 'Hand-eye coordination? What's that?'

*wink wink* It's working! XD

The spelling is osu!, and pronounced osss-u (like Kagami in Lucky Star does)
I can relate though, I've been trying to play the standard mode for like a year now, and I still pretty much suck at it. That's why I'm sticking to Taiko mode =3

I just realized owning anew game and having no way to play it sucks really badly.

On the upside however, I beat my high score on Starfox64. Went from 994 kills to 1037 kills. Traveled the red path up until the planet Zones, took a yellow path, but went straight back to red for the big victory and the secret ending!

I don't know if it's been talked about yet, but...Magicka.

Oh my goodness this game is amazingly fun. Spell casting, combining elements, plenty of AoE abilities...with friendly fire on. At all times. I could spend hours just killing my friends in hilarious ways. Like I just did.
