How many characters there may be in the comics who speak more than one language? Itsuki is one of them (Japanese and English), then there's Peanut (English and Akkadian), Max sometimes spoke Spanish and Res MIGHT speak French due to him being from Canada

I know about Itsuki and a little bit about Peanut but when did Max speak Spanish in the comic? O_O Not sure I remember that and even if he did it didn't mean he was fluent and probably only did it to seem cool.

I honestly thought that Max speaking Spanish was just a gag and it didn't mean anything. It hasn't been brought up again so I don't think it was supposed to be serious.

So I mean not really much TO lose in translation. He was rude and deserved a boot in the face.

Sorry to piggyback on this other topic, but it seemed to fit what was on my mind so here goes:

Do you suppose they told Bill (Fox's human) who King really is? I mean, they aren't exactly keeping it a secret from most of the characters that King used to be human, but do you suppose that Bill knows King used to be Joel, specifically? It kinda seems like the kind of thing they DEFINITELY wouldn't want him to be aware of...

Before a good chunk of the world was transformed into animals because a selfish squirrel wanted to get into nursing school but still be a squirrel I would say only the pets know about King formerly being Joel. The humans wouldn't really believe in any of the cosmic stuff. Now that a big percentage of the world has been forcefully changed I would think if it somehow got out that King was Joel that they would believe it now.

But I don't think anybody knows. Bill seems to be the kind of owner who is overly protective and learning that the guy who tried to kidnap his dog son is now married to his dog daughter and the father of his dog grandchildren probably would not go down too well.

It would make for an interesting arc where he found out because Bailey can't resist teasing. She says things like "you're only human" to King ALL THE TIME and one of these days Bill is gonna overhear.
