Well, looks like Keene will have to figure it soon, that or they tell him. Wonder if he will take it easy, freak out totally or fall into absolute negation of the matter, and maybe we learn soon how he ended there! (please dont be dead, please dont be dead ><)

Bah. Can't nag on Rick now for Keene having a check in heaven :3
Love how one of them stuffs his face while looking at Keene in a weird manner. I would love to do that to Keene as well.

The guys are still so accepting
and Keene is still not connecting
all their generous, giving, nature
is merely clue to their true stature.
They've finally worked him out;
they've figured what Keene's about.
They've figured he doesn't know;
They've figured he has to go.
They know he still has to face
the whole truth about this place.
Three of them can see the itch.
The other? OOH! SANDWICH!!

I wonder what heaven's orientation is like. Or more likely orientations, plural. "You look like the guy who would like a cartoon orientation! You look like you need a pantomimed orientation! You... oh you're Keene? yes I believe for you we have the 'null' orientation."
"What's the null orientation"
"It's the 'thank you! that's been your orientation' orientation! Have a nice day!'"
"Danged right! I don't got time for an orientation anyhow"
"We aim to please"

...how DID Keene end up there without noticing? We know that Cerberus is the escort for the deceased, and we know that animals almost have a free pass into Heaven, unlike humans, so at best we can assume that he skipped over judgement, which I guess would be their orientation. This little event gives credence to the "not really dead" train of thought, and shows that I overanalyze things. I just want to see Keene's reaction to this bit of information.
Re: 2016/04/25 - Paper Money
Aww, all those masseuses are being so lovely. And wow, that's lot of ice cream. But, there's nothing to do, it's being hard for him... Keene, do you want to realize that you're in Heaven? Yeah, you're being late, but it's never late up there. Don't talk about money there, it has no value! What you said is half wrong, Keene, you wandered in another environment...
Re: 2016/04/25 - Paper Money
Actually, we know dogs get a free pass into heaven (according to the movie, because "Dogs are naturally goodD-Rock wrote:We know that Cerberus is the escort for the deceased, and we know that animals almost have a free pass into Heaven
and loyal and kind."). We don't know the other animals .. and personally i want to see Karishad's judgement just because I think it'll be hilarious

Keene doesn't not know he's not in heaven, he was told flat out he was. He just doesn't have a concept of what Heaven is... which honestly makes sense. Who would explain to a pet the concepts of heaven and hell? Which actually have me a little worried.Cesco wrote:Aww, all those masseuses are being so lovely. And wow, that's lot of ice cream. Certain... small details in the comic kind of makes me see the storm cloud behind Heaven's silver lining within this reality. Like with Pete's trial. One of the things held against him was "Violating the Heavenly Order". When you look at King's visit, we see one of the big things about "Heaven's Order" is a near state of pure and constant bliss. It makes me worried that Keene might get arrested by the "happiness police"... with very long term consequences.
If Keene actually is dead, he might find himself kicked out of heaven and standing over his expired body as a ghost. If he isn't dead, he still might jeopardize his ability to get to paradise. The celestial bureaucracy can be very... disconnected at times.

It's kind of sad in a way that Keene's only solution to being given happiness for free is money in return. He should know that sometimes the best payment for kindness is acceptance right?

define 'normal' and 'standards' when speaking of the Milton ferrets. WITHOUT using the blue screen of death as excuse.bug1 wrote:Wow , been forever since I've commented.

Re: 2016/04/25 - Paper Money
I've said it before, I'll say it again: despite all of the clues as well as his intelligence and cunning, Keene is arrogant. His own mortality would simply never occur to him, so in his mind being in heaven is impossible. There's also his not even knowing how to pronounce it.

Well you can wright a check on anything as long as you know the information. it dosen't /have/ to be a pre-made one from a bank.
Actually... I think its pretty clear that "Violating the heavenly order" was about how he tried to steal kings soul.... i mean... King was pretty grumpy in heaven and cerberus was right there... so pretty sure theirs no "Happiness police". Although it did say that its easier for animals to get into heaven than people, which could explain how Keene got there..Benjamin_Mahir wrote:Keene doesn't not know he's not in heaven, he was told flat out he was. Re: 2016/04/25 - Paper Money
Adoring Fan has a point on this. King wasn't just grumpy, in front of the Reaper, by the way, he was unashamedly angry at Bahamut, who from what I can tell, is basically the head deity of the HP world. Dude even tried to make demands of Bahamut, and the most that King got was basically a reprimand. Heck, it's shown that Bahamut wants mortals to "let it out."Benjamin_Mahir wrote: Certain... small details in the comic kind of makes me see the storm cloud behind Heaven's silver lining within this reality.
