Photoshopping Housepets!
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Being the Kirby fan I am(just look at my avvy), I found that very hilarious. Though it definitely should be Keene, cause Bahamut doesn't support Pete.
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
OH! YAY! SAVESTATE! I love Savestate, it was the second webcomic I started to read, I have been seeing it around here a lot recently
Both of those pictures are great, I love them.
I personally never got either of them confused for a male, and I was really confused when I saw that people did. But it seems people have been calling Grape a male since day one, and I haven't seen anyone really calling Nicole male until recently.
I love those so much, they are both great.
Love the Kirby idea, I should do something like that. Maybe a gif.
It is kind of sad that Kirby Right Back At Ya is the first place I ever heard of Kirby though...

Not a bad thing, really. I didn't know of Kirby, Captain Falcon, Ness, Samus, or Link's real name until the first Smash Bros.

I wish they would make another Kirby show.
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Okay, I'll be honest, I've been wanting to see something like what I made for a while. Then someone beat me to it with Bailey and King. So a few weeks later, I finally kicked into gear with this.

Now that's funny! Great job, D-Rock!
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
YOU STOLE MY IDEA!
Sorry to have taken your idea with Bailey and King, but I just had too when I saw Bailey in her first strip, it fit so well. At least you put an actual background in yours, I was being lazy.
Also, there is no proof you had the idea first. XD
I got a smile from that picture. I wonder how long Peanut will be nostalgic for, hopefully not as long as I feel nostalgic for.

Haha! That came out very nicely! Great job on it!
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
As you know I'm italian, and here in Italy we usually don't decorate eggs for Easter.
But sometimes we paint rabbits.

Poor Zach. He is always treated as an afterthought. Don't worry though, because you have a GIRLFRIEND!
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Should I feel embarrassed at this? Yes. Do I feel embarrassed? Again, yes.
Will I post it anyway? Might as well.

I'm sure that in Tiger's EXTREMELY screwed up mind, that would make sense.

I've done the colouring of this doodle for Valerio's Italian translation thread so, even if a little late, here we go

I've always been a fan of Transformers Comics, with this being one of my favorite covers: http://i.imgur.com/sHDuy0N.jpg (Which is actually a reference to this Justice League Cover: http://i.imgur.com/a1OXthB.jpg).
I got bored, and decided to do this:

(I have no idea how to make the images work in the forum, so I've just linked 'em.)

Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Thanks for the welcome you two! I've been a lurker for a while, but I figured it was time to actually make an account.

Cassettekitty!
Most important thing I've learned from D&D?
No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

It's from a sketch of the redesigns Rick drew back in 2012.SuperStar wrote:Hrm, which comic was that Max pic from?
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
When was it colored in? That would be great for the wiki!
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Someone on the forum here colored in one of Rick's sketches. I turned it into a png, but the original is here: http://i.imgur.com/2cVcfpQ.jpg
EDIT: The user who colored it is Cesco.

Well the original and your version both look really nice! You did a good job on it!
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Nice collage for a comic cover, Stormrun, and welcome here. Yeah, was me who made a digital version of that Rick's sketch, here's my post.

What I stumbled across in the Wild Mass Guessing thread.
My response.SuperStar wrote:While handling some of Grape's stuff, Max get's cut by Pete's feather. At first no one thinks anything of it, but little do they know that Pete's feather is a link to his essence, allowing Pete from another point in time to take over Max. Max will then go under a mutation that starts turning him into a gryphon, which he tries to use to win back Grape's attention.
My actions. Surprisingly more difficult to make than I anticipated, but fun, and came out surprisingly good.D-Rock wrote:...Star, why does that sound awesome?
Ooh, I remember fanart of Pete as a cat, this could be the inverse!

That's surprisingly well done. Just comes to show you that the fur color matches anyone's species :3

Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
When I said it was harder than I thought, I meant it. Had to resort to selecting the entire black outlines (pretty easy with the magic wand tool), copy it onto a separate layer, put an ink sketch effect to make it all darker, remove the white space, then did the necessary recoloring on the original layer. Details such as the ear bite was added after all of that. The collar on the other had was grabbed from one of the strips and enlarged and re-angled to fit.
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Grape the Dog and Peanut the Cat...
...wait what?
Either we've stumbled upon some strange alternate Universe, or everyone's favorite Celestial Space Bird is up to no good...
I've only seen one other picture of this type, so hopefully nobody's beat me to this.

Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Just curious, did you use max as a base there?
I ask because he's the only character i can recall having a set of 'visible ribcage' lines on his chest, and even then it's not common.
Someone get that cat some snackfood.
