See, the TV did need to be shot! He wouldn't have been able to catch the mouse otherwise!
Re: [Webcomic] Simon & Freddy
Great, he knows more of the devil. He could be subject to Simon, but not also to a mouse.

How did I not find this before now? I love it! Can I please have that little picture in your signature so I can direct people here too?
Re: [Webcomic] Simon & Freddy
Wow, it's amazing what you can find here on the forums. So far I'm liking this comic a lot! Freddy kinda reminds me of Tiger in a way (hopefully that doesn't offend ya), but he looks absolutely adorable! I'm looking forward to seeing more of this. Terrific job, Hukley.

Yeah, right? I mean what is a TV in comparison to the feeling of victory? There are some things that money can't buy... and for anything else, there is mastercardCHAOKOCartoons wrote:See, the TV did need to be shot! He wouldn't have been able to catch the mouse otherwise!

It shows! It also reminds me of the webcomics "Imagine This!"; "Sandra and Woo"; "Pinkerton Park" and, yes, "Housepets!"Hukley wrote:Thanks! Hehe, of course not. Just as Tiger, Freddy also is a bit inspired by Garfield
Would you believe me if I told you this is the fourth comic in which a talking animal eating a talking mouse with hardly any remorse over eating a sapient being involved, with three of them having a fox as one of the perpetrators?
Also, shouldn't that translate as "grand prize"?
20th century fox? Given that this is the year 2020, that fox must be dead by now. Sadface! : (

$1000? Not too shabby! I hope the judges don't find out Freddy's true lineage though!
Silly: Really? The fourth? No way! Are the four the four you've just listed? Housepets would be the non-fox one, I'm guessing.

Re: [Webcomic] Simon & Freddy
Hehe believe me, there are even more inspiration-sources . I've always been a huge fan of comics so "Simon&Freddy" got influenced by a ton of different comics . I don't even knew "Imagine This!" and "Pinkerton Park" till now... but they look great and I absolutely have to check them out!Silly Zealot wrote:It shows! Oh, I would totally believe you . I think you can find almost every idea in another comic. But don't worry about the mouse... I have a slight feeling that we might see him again...Silly Zealot wrote:Would you believe me if I told you this is the fourth comic in which a talking animal eating a talking mouse with hardly any remorse over eating a sapient being involved, with three of them having a fox as one of the perpetrators?
And now I wonder: which are the other 3 comics?

Re: [Webcomic] Simon & Freddy
Yeah, I think $1000 dollars is enough to make up for for what Freddy did, along with some public humiliation as an added bonus. That last panel looks like he's ready to plot his revenge on Simon, but it could be a whole lot worse. Who knows?Hukley wrote:Yeah. Anyways, keep up the good work, Hukley! Can't wait to see what happens next. =3

That's a nasty solution to get money to buy a new TV. Good that Simon won this contest, but he's not showing to love Freddy with this new humiliating punishment. Love the expressions.

You are right, Hlaoroo! All those I mentioned, minus Imagine This!, portray at least one talking animal eating a talking mouse,Hukley wrote:Oh, I would totally believe you . Hilarious as always!
Re: [Webcomic] Simon & Freddy
Something like that was just bound to happen sooner or later with Freddy. I bet Simon picked up the idea while reading that "Road to Success" book.
Anyways, I love the expressions and cuteness of this comic as always. Good one, Hukley. ^^

Hehehe this is remniscient of a certain Garfield comic strip. I love it! I've actually never been able to play in the leaves like that. They actually don't fall here in Australia. We tend to have mainly evergreens.

you wouldn't think a pile that small would be big enough to cover the whole yard like that. or that jumping in it would scatter them far enough to cover the side yard.

Garfield did this before? I have to check that out! . Yeah, that discrepancy is a thing, but, how did Freddy go outside? The window had to remain opened, hadn't it? And then, it looks more to be a fixed window without an opening system. These are just advices, eh.
