I've never seen that one acronymized (acronymmed? acronymated?), so it threw me off too.

Ooh, since we were talking about tablets a page ago or whenever, I pose a question to the world-
I've been saving up money for a while, ideally to go towards a tablet- originally I just figured I'd get some kind of Bamboo, but then I realized Cintiqs existed and thought it might be better to be patient, save up more, and go for one of those instead. So, my plan has been to spring for a 12wx on my birthday, when I can convince other people to cover part of the cost.

Anyways, irrelevance aside, my question is this- are 12wx's worth the money at this point? From what I've read, it's quickly becoming outdated and its precision is showing signs of age. On the other hand, I've seen a number of other people that are still real happy with them, and they're some thousand dollars removed from the 21ux.

So, smart people, tell me things because I want to know which expensive flat thing to buy.

I've never really bought my friends gifts or expected gifts from them.
I work part time and make minimum wage, if you aren't immediate family you're not getting anything from me besides a "merry christmas *insert clever nickname*" text.
Maybe I'm just a terrible person

Your not. I'v only gotten one of my friends a Christmas gift before because he wouldn't accept the fact that I really didn't want him giving me something, so I ended up buying him a shirt and he gave me Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, but that's the only time. I honestly don't like asking for things for Christmas because sometimes I feel like I'm asking for to much, which is why I'm asking for 2 things this year. But I have noticed that almost every year I get a random gift, like one year I got a globe. No reason behind it, just a globe.

Anywho, I kinda feel as though I have a history with forcing (virtual) gifts onto people.
