you should probably go make up for lost time and watch it.
It works well for all ages too. When I was a kid I was like lol they're jumping and drawring and cleaning chimneys that Marry Poppins is a wily one and now I'm like oh it's a complex tale about fatherhood and early 1900's England's feminism and the way the characters all foil each other and it's so whimsical with great songs and Richard van little drummer boy and Julia Andrews as the best people in existence just like they are in real life almost and it's all very charming.

That's just how I talked when I was younger

I thought Wayne's World was okay, but the ending was pretty great.
I'm rather ambivalent towards Mary Poppins.

I like Back to the Future, which is very similar to both of them

At the behest of the forum moderators, I would like to remind everyone that we have forum rules, which prohibit things along the lines of inflammatory topics, including religious discussion. They also outlaw trolling, which generally can be defined as making a statement to provoke a negative response. Let's all make a strong attempt to keep our discussions civil and lighthearted.

Also, hey, at least we figured out discussion of building materials will attract long-inactive members. = P

You mean like Leafolawl
WHAT?

I use it as my thing for something I'm saying in a serious tone, but not really meaning it! Or something obvious, or ridiculous. It's basically my safe way for saying something that I feel could upset someone in a way I know won't offend them, or make it clear I don't mean to offend them. I feel like a lot of stuff could be offensive, because I know that a lot of people are very sensitive, and over the internet, I have no way of seeing if someone can get upset by what I say, or hearing the tone in what they say.

I'm just being cautious, and trying to avoid people being uncomfortable with what I say in the ways I know, so if you don't like something I'm doing, I'd appreciate hearing about it.

And besides, mine is "BRICK'D", not "bricked".
*BRICK'D* (It didn't feel right to have that joke and not use it. |D )
RandomGeekNamedBrent wrote:so. why did that "bricked" discussion bring in 3 people who primarily talk in the IRC? Nick, Kaido, and Law never post here, as far as I remember.
Probably because it's a conversation that's about the stuff that they do and enjoy with there being a possibility that it could become outlawed, and they felt the need to come and defend their right to using a joke that they have fun with.
