Agreed. X3

I used to not get any toppings on my burger but recently it's been very specific and as follows: Cheeseburger, not dressed, Pepper Jack and Swiss, double the cheese, bacon, onions, and mushrooms.

X9 Now I'm hungry. I think burgers have become my comfort food since they have so many homemade burger joints near where I'm living. Particularly Brew Bacher's. I'm not sure if they have that franchise anywhere else though. I'm sure they should, but I can't recall any. Sante Fe Cattle Co. is astounding in it's burgers as well.

Fuddruckers has some nice and different burgers, as well. Venison burgers, yum.

It's getting more difficult to sleep lately. I don't like that.

We have a place on campus that sells quintuple cheeseburgers. God help us all.

Do you wake up at a similar time every day, Housey?

Which reminds me, I still need to write a three page analytical essay on The Life of Pi.

I should probably read The Life of Pi first, though. x3

No, I read all the books I get assigned. Even A Tale Of Two Cities, which, as far as I'm concerned, is the literary equivalent of slamming your head into a brick wall. But I am one of those who waits entirely too long to actually do the project. And still gets A's, somehow. =P

I'm that only when I really hate the book- not because I feel like my own opinion of it determines whether or not I should have to read it, that's not it at all; I'm just a lazy bum who won't do things unless they have at least some interest to him. But we generally get good books, so that's not so common. Last one I didn't finish was I believe Huck Finn a couple years back.

The book itself wasn't bad. Going through every single bit of literary device in that book was what made it "slam-your-head-into-a-brick-wall"- worthy.

which one? CitR or ATo2C? because I just found CitR boring. I actually enjoyed ATo2C(though I really only skimmed through it to find the answers to the questions about it.)

Ahhh, ATo2C. I wish I had skimmed it. Reading page long descriptions of some of the most mundane things in existence. Yes, very much like slamming your head into a brick wall.

I liked Life of Pi. My sister didn't. YMMV.

And, yes, to the putting it off till the last minute and still getting an A on it. :D (Been harder to do in college >_>)

Darn it, I just know I'm going to spend all day listening to music on the internet instead of doing something productive again.

The first paragraph is one long, run-on sentence. The rest isn't any better. My GRANDMOTHER remembers it as being a horribly boring book, and she spends much of her free time watching C-SPAN. x3

It was so awesome! until like, the half way through. Shakespeare's second part was great, and I had to pause it to read the lyrics. But i wasn't smart enough to get the second half of the second part of his! D: and the Things were just annoying. It really could have been said by anybody to anyone for the most part, except the feetie pajamas bit and the eggs and ham. and then the weird voices and not particularly appealing costume. And were they just supposed to be talking at the same time? or were they taking turns? or did one rap and one just sit there? basically, they sounded like a chiptuned (insert mainstream rapper)

I don't really put too much stock into whether or not a book is a "classic." If it's good, it's good. If it's bad, it's bad. I really liked To Kill a Mockingbird though!

Whenever I would get assigned a book I would procrastinate until the time it's due, and read it in one or two nights and then get the assignment done right away.

I'm glad I have over 3 weeks until I start college. I'm not looking forward to 2-3 hour writing classes. >: I don't really mind math stuff.

Guys, don't listen to sleet. It wasn't an awful book, but it was a "Sleet" sort of thing to read.

So don't think you'll like it because (s)he does.

Well, okay, it probably wasn't huge to those acquainted with hailstorms. It was about 5 or 6 minutes of peanut sized hail. It was still dramatic.

Hey, I'm not the only one! A lot of students call it their favorite book that they're forced to read against their will by their high school teachers.

I still acknowledge that opinions will vary and not everyone is going to like it.

See guys this is why we capitalize proper nouns
:B

I actually realized that before I posted it, but thought referencing it would overfill my allotted Housepets references per post
Also I'd already cropped a panel so I was lazy

wait
what about pea sized hail.

peas are smaller than peanuts, but I imagine Pea is bigger then Peanut. the WORDS "pea" and "Pea" are shorter than "peanut" and "Peanut," and you can fit a pea inside a peanut or a Peanut, but you can not fit a Pea inside either of those. "Pea"s are inside both peanuts and Peanuts, though. And what if the hail were grape/Grape sized?

Raining men? Sounds like a sign of the Apocalypse, luckily that doesn't happen too ofter around here.

Also, I didn't know they measured hail by the size of peanuts, that would be nickel-ish size.

Incorrect. I am 1'3" and weigh 24.5 pounds.
Psykeout wrote:And what if the hail were grape/Grape sized?
Then it would be big either way, although the latter would again be rather destructive

They probably don't, that was just what I could best compare their size to.
