My aunt and uncle have quite a bit of money, but most of it is tied up in real estate right now.

My grandparents are well enough off. They live comfortably, anyway.

Same here, Housedog. I never feel right taking money from relatives. I always end up helping them for free and refusing their money.

I'm fine with charging my parents, but I don't get any kind of allowance so that's my main source of income. If I had to help grandparents or other relatives I wouldn't charge them. at least, not too much.

I am in the same boat diss. I don't come from wealth. No one in my family does. They broke their backs to get where they are. At one point, my aunt and uncle were collecting aluminum cans and painting houses for money. They just worked hard and bought when the time was right.

My grandfather was a self-made millionaire (barely), but that's really the only significant amount of money in my family. No one else is particularly wealthy, and my immediate family is kind of financially sunk for obvious reasons, kupo. :'(

That is a good way to go about it... I save any money I can get my hands on. Though My family is fairly Poor at the moment. We are having some very hard times lately.

My dad does something for the government (I think it's something with computers) so he has job security. and when my mom isn't lazy or busy trying to clean the house, she's an artist.

exactly. But now he works for DLA, so he does the same thing but his payment no longer depends on getting contracts.
also, if you think that's impressive, he used to be in the military in the night stalkers. he wasn't a pilot, but he was still one of them.

Also, I got my tail and ears! The tail is so big and awesome and fluffy! ^_^ So big, in fact, that I could never wear it discretely, so it'd have to be furmeets that I wear it at only.
