I thought little Rainbow Dash's voice actress sounded like she was straining to get her voice to sound like that.

Also, baby Spike should have been a lot cuter.

Me too. About the Twilight thing. I mean...I'm going to be honest, when she started glowing everywhere with all that energy and everything, I got a bit freaked out. If this were a different series I'd be convinced that it would come back up in a later episode as the catalyst for an epic adventure storyline concerning the destiny of Twilight Sparkle and the fate of Equestria itself.

They do bring back plot points from older episodes. I'm sure Twilight's ability will come up eventually. Possibly the season finale!

well i was thinking maybe Twilight accidentally releases all her magical energy at once and loses control of herself
or somepony causes her to do this
and then the rest of the cast has to find a way to fix the situation before she destroys herself

I have to say, I laughed at Rarity's flashback the most.
Her face when being dragged by her own horn, then her expression when she thought it was just a rock were both priceless.

The fact that the cloud made a circular shadow reminded me a lot of Super Mario 64. Every shadow was round in that game!

Okay, so from the new episode:

Who knew Twilight was hiding some seriously awesome magic behind those giant eyes?
Applejack is hilarious, even as a filly.
Pinkie Pie is so...Pinkie Pie.
Rarity has the best "forget it" expression ever.
Fluttershy was ridiculously cute.
And Rainbow Dash had a really annoying voice. It made her about .5% less awesome.

And Spike could've been cuter, like Sleet said.

Guys, I just figured out what Fluttershy's song in the newest episode reminded me of! By that I mean the singing voice. It reminds me of Tanya's singing in American Tail 2: Feivel Goes West!

Yea, that strip is pretty bad. The "crash" panel is lazy, the aftermath and Pinkie Pie are both intensely ugly, and...who is even the audience here? FiM fans wouldn't like the joke, either because he kills the CMC or they've grown out of laughing at "violence is the punchline"; and the final two panels are wasted on anyone who doesn't know the show inside and out (either because they didn't know about it or they hate it).

But it's to be expected. VGCats has been terrible for a long time.

Edit: And oh yeah, it is great that Scott likes them too.

Maybe, but did he have to point people to Equestria Daily? Blech.

fanfiction and shipping exist in every fandom, it's kind of expected
plus it's your choice whether or not you look at them
and the community is full of nice, welcoming people

yes there are some things there that some people wouldn't really care for, but this is the internet, you can't help that fact
if you can't live with these things, than you might not be mature enough to handle the internet

Not sure what you're defending there. If it's my opinion that the webmaster is voluntarily showcasing at least 40% bad content and the community is 10% more bad content, is that not a pretty valid reason for me to call the site bad and try to dissuade people from going there?
