Poor Zach. I can see that left eye-twitch of his.

You have to do it now. It's only polite.
Also, plot twist: Zach actually did kill them. They're real ghosts now.

He could have at least come up with a more logical plot then that, but I guess its the thought that counts.rickgriffin wrote:Sorry but this was too funny not to share: https://www.housepetscomic.com/2010/10/ ... ment-49908

To be fair, he could have been joking.
But if you're going to joke like that, it's probably best not to do it over the internet where sarcasm doesn't come across to a community that doesn't know you well enough to know you're joking.

Zach has died and will scare the other pets out of the house. Mark my words, you lot!

I love how you can tell that Zach's eye is twitching in the fifth panel without the obligatory "*twitch*" sound effect. Great job on that expression!

You're probably right. But I like giving people the benefit of the doubt.

To be fair, the sixth panel is the most "Bugs Bunny"-like I've seen Zach so far.

I thought the last panel was the funniest part. I love how little they care about zach.
Re: Arc# 36: Scaredy Cats
I love how Zach thought up a nickname for Marvin while running... As well as how the Bigglesworths messed up their dialog/script... And of course, the sixth panel!
To be fair the Bigglesworths did a good job with their disguise. I would be fooled if it wasn't for my meta-knowledge... And their dialog mess up!

Zack fainted?

Re: Arc# 36: Scaredy Cats
Oh man, poor Zach. This was too much for him right on the beginning. But that puts his team on an advantage - a fainted body can't run away.
Also, the Bigglesworth's suck at acting. Just sayin'

Re: Arc# 36: Scaredy Cats
Zach has quite the advantage since he faints before he has the chance to run out of the house.
Also, the Bigglesworths' almond eyes work really well for the ghost setup.

I love all the expressions in this strip.
I wonder if they're going to drag Zach outside, or if they just going to leave him lying there.

Removing someone from the house would presumably violate the rules of the competition, so I doubt they'll do so.

This probably has been said before, but Zach's expression on panel 6 is just pure gold. Well done, Rick!

The way the Bigglesworth approach Zach reminds me of a scene i saw once in a cartoon once, but i can't put my finger on what it was. closest i can remember is the Halloween special for Garfield with the three pirate ghosts.

This. ^ And besides, Peanut and Grape already kissed. Well at least in the fan art they did.

Re: Arc# 36: Scaredy Cats
It's a common comic convention: you leave out the pupils when you want the character to look more spooky. Batman uses this all the time. In fact, most masked heroes and villains end up having whited out eyes under their masks. Presumably the Bigglesworths still have all their pupils but it's much spookier to show them without them.Foldo wrote:One minute: how is possible for the Biggleswoth's to not show the wards and see correctly?
