"It's ok. Koa and I fell down it awhile back. But not to long ago we put a rope on the outside in order to climb down. He was going to sneak in but it looks like he's actually able to go in there so now he doesn't necessarily need it."

Koa was watching as the badger picked up his tools. And then turned to Oreo.
"Huh? Oh don't worry its just a few scratches, nothing I cant handle."
He answered smiling at Oreo.
"Anyways I don't believe I got a chance to answer the question he asked earlier. I would say your fur is softer than mine. One of my brothers had a friend who was a white skunk and sshe would always hold me against her fur when i was a pup."
Kousa ops off thee bench and makes her way toward the exit of the shopping district.
"Then what are we waiting for?"
"Thanks, Mister Badger! Wait... How do you listen to the records? Do you have a gramophone somewhere too?" Piper hurries over and begins looking through the trove of treasures. Before long she starts to giggle. "I think I know why these weren't working for you. These are seventy-eights. If you've been playing them at forty-five or thirty-three and a half they'll just sound strange because they won't be spinning fast enough for the needle to pick up the proper signal. Sorry, I shouldn't laugh. How could you have known that? We'll have to give these a clean back at the shop and see if any of them are still playable."
Turning her attention to the piano rolls she gets excited all over again. "Oh, you've got some classics here! Pianola or Player Piano rolls aren't uncommon but you don't see them every day either. We have a Player Piano at the shop I've been dying to try out but we didn't have any rolls for them! These look to be in okay condition too! Ooh, "The Charleston"! "Teddy Bears' Picnic Two-Step"! "Maple Leaf Rag"! "When The Red, Red Robin Comes Bob, Bob, Bobbin' Along"! "Swanee"! "Side By Side"! "Yes, We Have No Bananas" - that's one of my favourites! Oh, it's like Christmas again!" So engrossed with the rolls is Piper that she doesn't notice Ryyn's joke about the spiders of which she is - irrationally, she knows, morbidly afraid.
"All right. Bye, Mister Badger! Thanks for giving us all this stuff!"
"The young feller who fixes my electric can tell you what he did with my record player, it don't work no more and he couldn't fix it nether. You know him, calls himself Six Toes like he's a coyote or something."
He pauses before leaving.
"If you can get them records playin' right, I'd like to hear what they're supposed to sound like."

Blizzard follows closely behind Elliot and Kousa. You said earlier that Koa calls Hutchy a brother. Does that mean he's my brother, too? I didn't see 3 beds in Hutchy's room. Blizzard asks.

Exiting the shopping district and heading down the street towards the forest. Kousa talks while they walk.
"To tell you the truth I don't know. Koa is what you might call....weird...at times. My guess would be he reacted to something hutch may have said or he may feel safe around him. He never called me big sister, but that could be for obvious reasons."
"I personally don't know him. Actually I don't think I ever really seen him...I don't remember... But if Koa is calling him big brother than he's good in my book."
