I still don't understand what's wrong with discussing ideas. Having actual in character stuff in the OOC thread I can see being wrong, but I don't think what we've been doing counts as "scripting," does it...?

There's nothing wrong with discussing, and I think we have a healthy balance of spontaneity and planning. But If we go any further with the planning of the picnic thing, that might be borderline scripting.

EDIT: I think it's okay to decide who's going to be in charge, but maybe beyond that have the rest be in character and spontaneous....

Then, uh, I'm always watching too. More often than not. (Paaaage 25 of your RP! Slowly inching along...)

Brainstorming for ideas is one thing...that's okay. Planning and scripting how to make that idea go through...ehhh...

In RV, most times we don't even brainstorm together. One player gets an idea, puts it into motion, and we play off of it. Sometimes the unexpected happens, and that gets interesting.

More often than not, each morning, our pets just go out and about, gravitating towards some area of interest. Once the character figures out something to do for the day, we go with that.

...I guess the basic thing I'm trying to say is that all our scripting is done in character? Rather than discuss "Hey everyone, let's go on a picnic!" in the OOC, one of our characters will just go make a basket lunch and start walking to the park and no doubt meet people on the way who will want to go with. Or, perhaps, that character will pick up the phone and start calling his/her friends, inviting them to a picnic that day. Sometimes, a character will just go to the coffee shop, with nothing to do, and another character find them and tell them to go to the pet-store or woods with them. If a character (or you) doesn't want to do something, then they can put their own ideas into motion. In RV, we had 3.5 different stories going on at once for the current day (now down to 2.5, since two of the stories merged, and the decimal is not a mistake, there's a two player side story going on). The only thing is...is that it can be hard to keep track of things, especially if you have two characters in two stories at once!

Anyway, that's my spiel. Oh, and don't say, "I hope a mod isn't watching," because then we're going to run up and slap you in the face with a 30 pound trout, mkay?

Wait, did the barbaque happen today? If so, Awesome has fixed his window(kinda), went to the barbeque and hosted a search party for a lost boomerang (again, kinda)...oh yeah, and his dad started a sub-plot wth Awesome...that may escalate but, time will tell.

Really, if you guys need to script, then I guess I won't stop you. It was annoying before, because important posts, such as character sheets, would get lost in the flurry of posts...but soon, once the new OOC is done...well, uh, Keeshah recommended this:

If you selected option A) 'a long time', then it may already be afternoon. If you selected option B) 'not that long at all', then it may still be morning. If you selected option C) 'I have no idea', then it may be time to get a watch.

Morrigan is a side-character that after the current story-arc, will only appear every now and then. Until then, I thought it would be a good idea to stat her.

Name: Morrigan
Species: Cat
Age: 9 (human years) 27 (Cat years) But she died around 1000 years ago and is now a ghost, so her actual age is unknown.
-Appearance-
She is a pure white short-hair cat with blue eyes. She wears no collar or any charms.
-Personality-
She is very protective of Liz, and assists her at times. She also sees everything as either good, evil, or neutral.
-Other Notes-
She has been dead for more than 1000 years, and currently resides inside of Liz's mind. She is Liz's past life, and only awakens when there are large amounts of magic nearby, such as when Zappa's old mentor attacks. Until then, she lies sleeping, but aware of her surroundings. In life, she was a celtic druid, who was very adept at healing and protective magics. She was physically handicapped when she was alive because of an unknown disease, and the disease later killed her.
-SPECIAL- As a ghost of a handicapped cat, she is obviously physically weak.

Oh, one thing to note. In the RP canon, he doesn't have some of these things yet...YET! Ultimately, I'm planning on him getting all of this stuff (some collarthingies and the glasses).
