meh can only think of 2 names right now ( used to collect these names a lot) Chhaya (godess of shadow) and senka (shade) , both sound like somekind of tribal dance to me for some reason

They have to have some way of referring to each other in the past or future or when they're not present, so they have to have some kind of description based on how they differ from other animals of the same species.

"So, miss, what do they call you when you're not around?"

As he's said, once he's satisfied that everyone is safe he'll leave. He can't go in good conscience knowing that he has the skills to save someone from the lion should things get messy.

You obviously haven't heard of this guy. He's the Grand Master, the villain from the TV series "MI High" and he has a pet rabbit.

Oh, I'm sure John could think of ways to keep her feeling guilty - accidentally knock over a pile of dishes next to her so she thinks she's done it, break a window with a small rock as she pushes the lawnmower past, nudge her so she spills her coffee on a "priceless family heirloom", that sort of thing.
