Magnetism is actually a lot more complicated than one would think. I feel inadequate for not having a concise explanation, because I'm not completely clear on it myself.

I think it has to do with spinning electrons moving in one direction, the direction they move to is north and the opposite direction is south. Please correct me if I am wrong for it has been a very long time since I studied about magnets.

I'm not one for mixing crazy combinations like that.
Also, what is this about magnets? We were discussing pickles! x3

I seem to use the word flea more than flee, odd because my cat has never had fleas, only intestinal parasites a few times.

Is it bad if you look back at something you wrote a few weeks ago and find it absolutely silly, but have no idea how you would change it? I feel that way right now with something I'm writing.
Re: Captain Pea's Fantabulastic Thread For To Chat In
I wouldn't say that's always a bad thing.
What type of thing are you writing, if you don't mind my asking?

Right now, I'm writing a story that combines my New York Kagekidan, my Devil Souls group (consisting of characters made by fellow chat threaders), and my Atelier group.
...And I haven't actually written much of anything for their own stories.

Something absolutely silly involving an idea that has been popping up in my mind for several years now. I just...feel silly reading it over, but I don't know why.Reima wrote:I wouldn't say that's always a bad thing.

Re: Captain Pea's Fantabulastic Thread For To Chat In
Is it silly in the sense that you are starting to dislike the idea of what you are writing,
or silly because the plot (I'm assuming it's a story, please correct me if I'm wrong) is becoming very weird?
Because if it's the latter, weird stories are not always bad. In fact, they can be very fun. Just look at Lewis Caroll.

Re: Captain Pea's Fantabulastic Thread For To Chat In
I also can't seem to write a story without adding at least 9 characters.
My Kagekidan has 9. (13 if you count technical support)
My Devil Souls groups, you can see in my signature.
And my Atelier Group only has 2 right now, but I'm probably going to add like 7 more.
I have no concept of moderation.

Re: Captain Pea's Fantabulastic Thread For To Chat In
I guess it's silly because it...just seems silly? I don't even understand why...I just started laughing as I was reading it, haha. It just feels silly, even though I'm completely fine with how it's written. Maybe I'm just excited with it.
Hopefully I'll get over the silliness. It's hampering my ability to write coherently, which is a pain!
